Boat trip

Great location, perfect village on the river. Pubs are great, local cafe for breakfast and ice cream. Local grocery store. Boat rentals short walk away.

Lovely cottage with fantastic views.

Lovely cottage with fantastic views. 2 great pubs right on the doorstep and 1 about 15 minutes walk. Small and cozy but had everything we need and was very clean. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Shame about no outside space to sit.

Shame about no outside space to sit. Car parking space a bit tight and blocks one of the living room windows ( we have a larger car). Flat is bigger than expected and has been redecorated recently, looks very nice. Bed and pillows good. Heating easy to use if needed and all kitchen equipment also easy, but only the basic cooking equipment available ( we found this not to be a problem). Cooker needed a clean, we only cooked a pizza and it smelt a little of hot oil..... You can hear people in the upstairs apartment, especially in the bedroom as there is a connecting door (locked at all times) this didn't cause us a problem as the owners were staying there and they were really lovely and friendly and we were not bothered by the occasional noise. I probably would not book again in the summer as you are a little constricted by the lack of outside space, but, there is a nice park across the road with many benches to sit and watch the world go by. We just prefer an outside space to sit without having to pay pub prices all evening. Perfect location, and overall very nice.
