Absolutely beautiful barn, Sally has thought of everything you may need from bottle openers to cling film and everything in between. Lovely welcome little touches when we arrived my boys were particularly pleased with the huge chocolate cake! Sally popped over to welcome us so we felt at ease from the minute we arrived. The views and surrounding areas are beautiful. We all enjoyed the stay.

Walnut Cottage was a good base for me to meet up with my family members who live over the border in Lincolnshire. It was just off the A1 so easy to get to. I chose it because two dogs are allowed although I ended up just taking one. Not far from Nottingham Forest in one direction or Lincoln with its lovely cathedral in the other direction. The cottage had very good facilities and overlooked farm land. One warning would be that small dogs would be able to get through the fence and the road can be busy at times, although you are not particularly aware of it.

The barn is gorgeous and extremely well-appointed.
The barn is gorgeous and extremely well-appointed. Sally was a great host - communication etc was good.
The kitchen has everything you could possibly want (even a slow-cooker). Beds are super-comfortable and showers are great.
The hot-tub is brilliant - we spent all afternoon and evening in there. This meant that we didn't explore the local area very much, but the setting is lovely and we did visit a few local towns on our way home.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
