Fairhaven lake is a short walk, offering tennis, boat hire and bowling amongst its attractions. There is also a cafe and RSPB discovery centre. Nearby is a cinema, indoor swimming pool, a beach and a variety of coastal walks. Within a short drive, there are four 18-hole golf courses. The attractive towns of Lytham and St Anne’s offering bars, restaurants and cafes, are within 2 miles. Blackpool is approximately 8 miles. The Lake District is approximately 1-hour. Shop ½ mile, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

ivy house wonderfull

We had a great stay at ivy house,very clean and nice area,feel so at home and peacefull,the owners have thought of everything,the kitchen has all the equipment needed if you like to cook like we do,nice beds and bedding,towels,dryer,washing machine,dish washer,i could go on and on, the dogs enjoyed it also and lots of walks local on the sand dunes and beaches,st annes lytham and blackpool great place to shop,so much to do,we didnt want to leave,thanks to the owners for the nice gifts and dog treats,you have a wonderfull holiday home.thank you.

Ivy House is a warm, clean and very well equipped holiday home in a quiet location.

Ivy House is a warm, clean and very well equipped holiday home in a quiet location. Very close to sand dunes which we love for walking the dogs on. Local shops only 10-15 minutes walk from house. Little extras always provided such as soap, hand cream, chocolates, wine, dog treats and more, make you feel welcome to this lovely home from home.

The house is dated but very clean with plenty of crockery and kitchen equipment.

The house is dated but very clean with plenty of crockery and kitchen equipment. Plenty of Towels provided and treats for your dogs. Pet friendly with separate utility for dogs beds. Close to sea front for good walks.

Ivy House is a very warm, well equipped house in a lovely quiet location.

Ivy House is a very warm, well equipped house in a lovely quiet location. Only a short walk with the dogs to the sand dunes and a little further (just 10-15 minutes) to the local shops including great chippy. We have no need to move the car while staying at this holiday home as everything we need is reasonably close including St Annes.

We like it there,they let us take our dog and that is great for us.

We like it there,they let us take our dog and that is great for us.We look after 2 elderly people,one of them palatal,so we are always glad of our respite weeks.We visit Ivy at least 5 times a year,and will continue to do so.We are back again in October and November.A proper home from home holiday.

Very spacious well equipped cottage.

Very spacious well equipped cottage. Wine, chocolates and biscuit treats for us plus doggy treats too. A short stroll to Lytham beach sand dunes a great walk for our dog Lottie. Hope to book for two weeks next January.
