Lovely house in great location

House is as it appears on the listing. Kitchen has all you need in equipment and space. Comfy lounge to collapse into after a hard days walking. Easy and short stroll into Keswick, for all the shops and restaurants. Would stay here again, and have no hesitation to recommend it

lovely property in great location

This was the second time we booked this house in Keswick as we had such a great experience on our first visit. Overall accommodation standards are high. The house is nicely furnished, beds are comfortable , and there is a well equipped kitchen. Lots of space for a family so not cramped even with boots, bags, walking gear, etc Location is just a few minutes walk from the town centre.

A lovely property with a great location in town and with parking space and sitting out areas. It is in our favourite part of town close to shop and Lake. Our teenagers loved the equipment in Fitz Park. Found on-street parking for second car, very easy. Reasonably well equipped but short of the loving care needed to address things that were not working. The owner needs to stay there and realise how irritating little shortcomings can be. This was our third vist to Acorn Lodge and while location is excellent we felt there was a drop in the standard of cleanliness. The twin room was very dusty and had to be cleaned before use. The single room had several items left in drawers from previous guests and the plug on the iron was literally falling apart, quite dangerous

We had the most wonderful week staying in Acorn Lodge Cottage.

We had the most wonderful week staying in Acorn Lodge Cottage. It is situated in the perfect location, less than 5 minute walk into the centre of Keswick and about a 10 minute walk from Derwent Water. Conveniently there is off road parking too. The cottage itself is just delightful. So well equipped, spacious and having a sink in every bathroom is a definite bonus. We will be back!

The cottage was very nice, the showers were poor, not very good flow. The house could have been cleaner, however the beds were comfortable and the lounge spacious. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and crockery etc.
