The property has a rear south facing gravelled garden with garden furniture. Parking for 1 car plus on street parking. Visit England 4 Star.. Carthwaite is a four-bedroom town house, superbly equipped and furnished throughout, ideally suited for six with the added flexibility of a seventh bed. Situated in a quiet residential area but only 5 minutes level walk into the town centre, it provides easy access to shops, restaurants, pubs and visitor attractions.
The four bedrooms comprise two doubles, (one with en-suite), one twin and one single room. The main bathroom has a shower over the bath. The property also has a downstairs toilet and washbasin, making it ideal for the larger family or two smaller families sharing.
Patio doors from the living room open onto a small rear garden which is enclosed, well sheltered and south facing. On sunny days it is a sun trap, providing an ideal place to relax, either in the morning, lunchtime or especially in the afternoon after a rewarding walk.
A new kitchen was fitted in January 2020. It is well equipped with electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and washer/dryer. A combined fridge/freezer contains four fridge shelves and one drawer and three freezer drawers.
A small car park at the rear provides one allocated space to the property and is situated in the corner of the car park, directly opposite Carthwaite’s rear garden gate. On-street parking is also available. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.
There are low banisters at the property.
