Millies cottage has been one of the best cottages we've stayed at in the Lakes or anywhere else in over 30 years of self catering holidays that we've had. It has everything from wi-fi to a washing machine. The bathrooms were very nice, modern, airy and clean with bath and shower in the larger of the two rooms. The sitting room and dining areas are comfortable and a small cubby hole contains an iron and ironing board and cleaning equipment should it be needed. Although the cottage is narrow compared to most houses, I can't say that bothered us at all: there was easily enough space to feel comfortable and relaxed. Over all, a great cottage and a very pleasant time we spent there. Only the parking on the road could be a little difficult at times, it's quite busy, but we did park up every night of our stay, so I don't want to be negative about that. I would very happily recommend Millie's cottage to anyone looking for accomodation in Keswick and north Lakeland.

Very clean, comfortable, and convenient.

Very clean, comfortable, and convenient. Slight hiccup with DVD player (didn't seem to work) and the WI-FI (trouble getting a connection to the hub). Otherwise lovely. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A lovely cottage.

A lovely cottage. From first opening the door everything looked and smelled spotlessly clean. Everything we needed was provided; the lovely little kitchen was well equipped and perfect for a week away. We loved this place - the only downside is that parking anywhere nearby was almost impossible but given the (un)usual good weather we had, a five minute walk to the car really wasn't that much of a problem. The owners / property managers must be congratulated on their excellent preparations for Covid-19 - as must all of the businesses in Keswick. A lot of good work had gone into making this a safe place to visit. In a nutshell - highly recommended. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We had to put towels up on the windows as the curtains were not lined.

We had to put towels up on the windows as the curtains were not lined. Blackout blinds in addition to curtains would have been lovely. Well equip cottage which suited us and we were fortunate to find parking in close proximity although in the height of summer holidays i would imagine parking would be an issue.
