Our second stay at Limetrees and an excellent one.
Our second stay at Limetrees and an excellent one. It is a beautiful apartment, light and airy and beautifully appointed. Since we were there last year, the sofa and chair in the lounge have been upgraded, making it even more comfortable. For us, an elderly couple, the only drawback is the two short flights of stairs to get to the flat. Also there is some early morning noise from the adjacent Co-op store when they are opening up.

Perfect location, within easy access of all the amenities Keswick has to offer.
Perfect location, within easy access of all the amenities Keswick has to offer. Beds were so comfortable and it was nicely decorated throughout. We were worried all the personal touches would have been removed for COVID but this wasn’t the case. Lots of storage and even a lot of coat hangers which makes a change!! Only one improvement I would make is a couple of fans as we had a heatwave and nighttime’s in bed were unbearable but I understand this may have been a COVID issue. A little noise from co-op deliveries but it didn’t last long just more noticeable as we had the windows open. Would definitely stay again, great value for money and lovely homely touches.

Excellent location only a 2 minute walk from high street, has own allocated parking space although very tight space so needed to get passengers out before parking, flat is spacious and has everything you need with excellent wi fi, and very powerful shower, only downside is Co op next door very handy but the lorries arrive 6am with supplies so this wakes you up every morning.

Brilliant time in this apartment. Very central location for Keswick. Really handy to have CO-OP next door. Great to have a parking space too. Well equipped, comfortable and cosy. Only 10 mins walk from Derwent water as well. We would definitely recommend it.

A warm, comfortable, smallish flat.
A warm, comfortable, smallish flat. It has one allocated parking spot and is at the end of the high street in Keswick, with a small supermarket and cashpoint next door. The double bedroom is roomy and very comfortable. There's also a single bedroom but it might be a squeeze for 3 adults in the flat. The kitchen is small but well-equipped. The bathroom is clean and has a good shower in a bath. The living room has a sofa with 3 adjustable seats (from upright to almost horizontal), and lamps - so good for reading. We had come to Keswick for hiking and were not disappointed. The flat is warm, but we struggled to find places for our walking stuff. A designated coat/boot rack at the entrance would have helped. A stunning town, with plenty to do.

Lovely comfortable appartment with very welcome recliners in living room.
Lovely comfortable appartment with very welcome recliners in living room. Kitchen very well equipped and bed in main bedroom super comfy! The only thing that spoilt it for us personally was its very close location to the Co-op store as the noise from 6am every morning of clattering crates etc. was rather unbearable. I will certainly recommend it to anyone who I think would not be bothered by the shop noises outside the bedroom window. Would look at a different appartment further along in Hewetson Court another time.

We have stayed at Limetrees before and were happy to stay there again.
We have stayed at Limetrees before and were happy to stay there again. It is comfortable, reasonably spacious and well kept up. It is a pity that regulations no doubt require a door on the kitchen, since this is a considerable nuisance as it limits movement in there, even more of a problem if two people try to get in. The location is excellent for the town as road access is easy. The fact that it has its own parking space is a considerable advantage in a town where street parking is close to warfare! We would certainly recommend the property.

A well appointed, warm, roomy apartment.
A well appointed, warm, roomy apartment. Although we live locally in North Cumbria our stay has been so handy for the fells and Central Lakes. During the past two years we have stayed in apartments at Skelwith Bridge and Grasmere; Limetrees beats them both. Parking at Limetrees was a real bonus considering the shocking charges of National Trust car parks! It was a revelation to walk to Great Wood car park, avoiding ticket machines and through spring woodland and up the fellside past Peregines on the crag to Ashness Bridge and Surprise View. No need to squeeze past inconsiderate 4x4s! We have also stayed at the Derwentwater Hotel, Portinscale, half board, yet we prefer and would return to Limetrees. Thanks for a happy stay.
