This is an ideal base from which to explore the region’s attractions including the magnificent stately homes. The beautiful Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are an absolute must see, or visit the picturesque villages of Bakewell and Ashover (Cardale in TV’s ‘Peak Practice’) which are both close by.
