Spotlessly clean and spacious accommodation. Attractive character property with so many original features retained. Location private & completely quiet except for birdsong. Walks to the cliff top and beach possible from the chapel... I would advise walking boots and prepare to exert yourself with the climb. Great views from the cliffs. Locals we met whilst walking, very friendly. The Chapel is equidistant between Filey and Bridlington. Great for exploring the Yorkshire coast.

This was a perfect space for my husband and I to come back to after long walks in Hunmanby, Robin Hoods Bay, Filey, Flamborough with other family members staying close by. It was wet for much of the stay so the fire was much appreciated and it was in the middle of the Covid pandemic, so we could not have any visitors indoors (hence no photos) as family had travelled from Tier 2 areas. I have slightly marked down the facilities only because the bath did not offer enough hot water to cover the jets....I had had a nasty fall in Flamborough and needed to use the jacuzzi jets on my aching muscles but was surprised to find even the super hot water (even with no cold added) was not enough to provide a deep enough bath. However this was a minor hiccup and not enough to detract from the overall comfort of the place. And the welcome box of chocs, bottle of wine and pint of milk were all really welcome and unexpected. A lovely touch!

Stunning place to stay for a quiet break with friends - The Chapel is out of the way in a lovely quiet village within walking distance of the beach. Well equiped with loads and loads of room in all areas, huge living space, large kitchen and dining area, very large bathroom and good size double rooms. It had everything we needed for our stay including internet and smart TV.
The owner Neil was very pleaseant and very helpful and after calling him over a minor issue he was at the cottage within a couple of minutes - we went in October and were very lucky with the weather, enjoying some lovely walks on this stunning coastline. Would we stay again? Most definitely.

The Old chapel has a lot of space, very well equipped with a large flat screen TV, convertible beds a double bed downstairs and 2 single beds upstairs, a ramp for wheelchair. Its is a small village with no shops but this is not a drawback 10mins away the town of Bridlington is there with plenty of shops. The owner is very helpful if you need to call him, I would truly recommend it quiet and peaceful.

We adore The Old Chapel.
We adore The Old Chapel. It’s comfortable, clean and quiet and offers fresh air, no noise or light pollution and it’s on the cliff top of the beach. It’s also minutes from the beautiful beaches at Filey and Bridlington. The owner is friendly and approachable. The Old Chapel is excellent value for money. We always return from our stay feeling an improvement in our physical and mental health and even our dog is calmer. We thoroughly recommend The Old Chapel.
