Close to many wonderful sandy beaches and coves in the glorious South Devon countryside, The Anchorage is a delightful stone-built holiday cottage ideal for a beach-based holiday or a relaxing winter break. One of a pair, set in the quaint coastal village of Kingston, it has been refurbished and offers a light and airy interior and has a small enclosed front garden and a lovely rear garden. Apart from its sandy beaches and sheltered coves, there are miles of walks along the South West Coastal Pathway with spectacular views and wildlife. Ideal for golf. Shop 2 miles, pub ¼ mile.

The Anchorage is a lovely holiday cottage in a great location.

The Anchorage is a lovely holiday cottage in a great location. It is very well equipped and the tasteful decor reflects its proximity to the coast. Lots of great beaches nearby and Modbury is excellent for a browse and a coffee though the garden is so pretty you could easily spend a morning or two without going anywhere. All in all the Anchorage ticked all the boxes for a holiday cottage - and to capital all the sun shone all week!

Great location, lovely cottage, very well equipped and spotless. Heating worked a treat, which was essential as the weather was iffy. Would definitely recommend and return - what more can I say!

The Anchorage is fantastic.

The Anchorage is fantastic. Very well equipped kitchen (more like your kitchen at home than a holiday let), comfortable and in a gorgeous location. A must do is the walk down through the woods to Wonwell Beach (completely fell in love with it), and there are lots of other places to visit a short drive away. 10/10 on all counts, only gave the 8 for local amenities as there is no shop in the village but there is a well provisioned shop a short drive away in St Anns Chapel. Will definitely be returning to The Anchorage again in the future.
