Grove Cottages consists of two holiday properties, The Swallows (ref HRRA), a single-storey barn conversion, and Oak Tree Cottage (ref HMMY).



Nearby Instow is an unspoilt seaside village with a large sandy beach and dunes, fishermen’s cottages, village shops and a good selection of pubs and restaurants. A fabulous location that has something for everyone, the area is a must for water sports, sailing enthusiasts and fishermen. Walkers and cyclists can enjoy the famous Tarka Trail. North Devon has wonderful beaches and is well positioned for visits to Exmoor, Dartmoor and North Cornwall. At Croyde and Woolacombe, discover some of the best and cleanest surf beaches in the country, as well as many smaller coves and bays. Exmoor and the South West Coastal Path are located close by and there are NT properties at Arlington and Knighthayes. Shops ½ mile, pub, beach and restaurants approximately ¼ mile.

The property was attractive, warm, clean and compact.

The property was attractive, warm, clean and compact. It was private and the garden was secure for the dog. The owner was very helpful and we appreciated the lovely cake and eggs. As the weather was very bad and overcast for most of our stay the lighting in the main room was not bright enough to read in comfort . We were not able to take advantage of very local amenities and walks due to the weather conditions so can’t reasonably comment on them. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We had a fantastic time.

We had a fantastic time. Welcomed with homemade cake, flowers and fresh eggs. Cottage has everything you'll need. Well equipped kitchen, cosy lounge area and bedroom and a modern bathroom. Lovely outdoor area with fully enclosed small private garden with a large decked area. Lots of lovely local walks into Instow.

A perfect little barn conversion ideal for the two of us and our Labrador! The barn is bright and airy but also cosy, very stylish, well equipped, and has a wonderfully comfortable bed! A gorgeous enclosed “secret garden” full of wildlife and colour, and a large deck for dining al fresco during a beautiful sunny week in May! Nik and Dave are warm and welcoming hosts and provided a delicious welcome pack...even treats for our dog! A 15 minute walk to the amazing sandy Instow beach with sparkling views across to pretty Appledore. Ideal location to visit so many beautiful places on offer in North Devon. Loved it...thank you! The whole place was so lovely and the owners were welcoming and had kindly made us a cake. We wanted for nothing. The local beach was clean and was ideal for walking our dogs. The cottage had a nice garden which was full of foliage and was a peaceful to sit in and relax.
