Wonderful cottage

Hungate cottages are perfectly placed near to Pickering town centre. Beautiful complex of converted barns and cottages. Our cottage was spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. We had a great week, thank you.

Warm welcome from Rachel and Richard.

Warm welcome from Rachel and Richard. Cottage is in lovely surroundings-a quiet oasis in a busy market town. Very central for shops, amenities, moors, coast, heritage railway, attractions etc. Cottage was warm, well equipped with a comfortable bed and a good shower. Having the downstairs toilet was very handy. Pleasant gardens for sitting and having a coffee/tea. We hope to return.

We had a fantastic week away.

We had a fantastic week away. The welcome was friendly and informative, the cottage was clean and had everything you could want. It’s a great location, easy to get to York or the coast. I would totally recommend Hungate Cottages. We’re already planning when we can go back - we’ve never holidayed in the same place twice before so it was obviously good!!

Fabulous well equipped cottage.

Fabulous well equipped cottage. Only 5 minute walk to Pickering but you could be miles away from anywhere as so secluded. Was a nice change to leave the car behind as everything so handy.
