On road parking, permit for 1 car included; additional on road parking at rear of property. No smoking. Please note: No children allowed.. Under new ownership from September 2021, this contemporary, lower ground floor apartment is situated just 5 minutes away from the beach and centre of Whitby. The property is ideally placed for exploring the cobbled back street shops, indoor market, abbey, church and 3-mile stretch of golden sand which is less than 5 minutes away. Whitby is a bustling fishing town that is home to many amazing events throughout the year, including the bi-annual Goth Weekender, Folk Week and the Whitby Regatta, to name just three of the all year round events. Alongside this, Whitby attracts visitors from all over who love to sample the many bars, restaurants, cafés and tea rooms, as well as museums and galleries.

This is also the perfect place to make as your base for exploring the North York Moors National Park and the Yorkshire Heritage Coast. Travel by steam train into the heart of ‘Heartbeat’ country or take a fishing trip out to sea on one of the many boat trips that leave the harbour with the hope of seeing whales, seals or dolphins. The Cleveland Way snakes along the coast and is a must for those who enjoy the great outdoors. Robin Hood’s Bay and Runswick Bay are just some of the highlights along the coast, whilst the medieval walled city of York is just an hours’ drive or train ride away. The traditional seaside town of Scarborough is just down the coast with its North and South Bays, plus the open-air theatre which hosts many summertime concerts with international stars. Really lovely property

The property is great and has everything needed for an enjoyable stay. Location was perfect for town, the pavillion and access to cinder trail. My only criticism is that cottages.com didn’t provide information on access to the property. There was a key sage with 5 unlabelled keys in. Then had to work out how to get through 3 doors and find the flat I. The property..extremely frustrating!!

lovely property clean, well appointed, and perfect.

It was a superb clean flat which allowed dogs so was nearly like being at home, sadly with 4 flats on site it was a lottery if you had a parking space, but on street parking vouchers provided. We were luck and got a flat space on the last night, so all in all 110 out of 100, top marks +.

White Whale 7 Belle View Terrace

Just got back from a great 4 day stay in Whitby. Apartment was so clean and spotless when we arrived. Lovely place with everything that you need. Fantastic location, close to the beach and all the shops. Owner really good at sending all the info a few days before arrival for the key access to the apartment. Will definitely be booking again for next year😀

Really enjoyed the stay and ideal location.

Really enjoyed the stay and ideal location. Only 5 minutes from the harbour and local amenities only a short walk away. Ideal property for the dog as it was on the ground floor. Facilities good and very comfortable throughout. Parking was a problem as the roof was being refurbished on one of the upper floor properties so couldn't park outside the back of the property. Street parking also very difficult at the weekend despite having a 4-day permit. Council car park only 100 yards away so able to use that. Really enjoyed Whitby and surrounding villages such as Staines and Robin Hoods Bay. Great walking and fantastic scenery despite the weather. Would go again.

The location was just perfect quiet at night and just a stones throw from the shops and a lovely micro pup/ gin bar(dog friendly too)We walked our dog every night along the west Cliff just a short walk from the flat plenty of bins and Whitby was very clean and tidy!would book again.
