A lovely, clean, and cosy cottage that offers a brilliant place to stay in Cromford with plenty to do in nearby surrounding areas. My partner and I had a lovely time staying here and would like to thank the owners for their hospitality during our stay and preparing the ideal place for us. Ideal and affordable pricing, very good value for money. We really enjoyed it!

Robin’s nest is an excellent cottage for a short break.
Robin’s nest is an excellent cottage for a short break. The location is on a working farm with horses, cattle, sheep, dogs and cats. It is very quiet but a short walk of approximately 20 minutes into the centre of Cromford. We can recommend the Boat Inn for meals. The cottage is clean and comfortable and in a very quiet location. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. The kitchen was well equipped with microwave, cooker, toaster, dishwasher, and kettle. There was a lovely sitting out area, but we didn’t use it because it was cold when we visited in January. It is a good spot if you like walking holidays.

What a brilliant place ,Lovely cottage ,Kind welcoming owner very helpful and happy to help and really friendly .Nice views really nice seating area outside where you can sit on evening with a glass of wine or enjoy a coffee in the morning whilst listening to the morning birds .Location really good about a 15 min stoll into the village with a few lovely pubs and good chippy and local shops and cafes and great convenience store that sells really good quality bacon and sausages and fresh eggs and bread . The train station is about 5 min walk that will take you into matlock and matlock bath so the location is brilliant base and really easy to explore also there is a bus that runs along the route .Would stay again in a heartbeat .Kind regards Kathryn ....
