Fantastic cottages and wonderful hosts. The cottage is extremely clean, fully equipped and probably the best we have stayed in. The nearest shop is in Drumnadrochit a short distance away but you are on the doorstep of some very beautiful country with lots of good local walks. We would highly recommend this cottage to all our friends.

Glen View is a lovely retreat beautifully presented and perfect equipped.
Glen View is a lovely retreat beautifully presented and perfect equipped. It experiences more if the east of Scotland’s weather than the west’s. You can often see the rain petering out as the clouds March east through the glens. We were so happy here, but as we love the western highlands so much we may choose somewhere nearer Fort Augustus next time. But nothing will ever stop us placing Glen African at the top of our list for the most wonderful walk and scenery. And Roz and Martin made us and our little dog feel so happy.

We traveled to Inverness from Baltimore, Maryland and Miami, Florida, had missed connections, arrived late - driving on the wrong side of the road (for us) and in the dark, with what seemed like limited directions (directions were, in fact, accurate and this all would have been easier in the daylight)- we felt it was divine intervention that we found the place. We arrived safe and sound to a lovely suburban home. Everything was great. A lovely gift basket was provided, and we actually fed the birds with the bird food provided to us. We were gone most of the time exploring Loch Ness, the Urquhart Castle, and feeding the Hairy Coos, but it was nice to have a home base. We made our own breakfast each morning in the well-equipped kitchen, took advantage of being able to do laundry and actually played the trivia game from the book shelf. If there wasn’t so much of the world that we still need to see, we would definitely return to Inverness and to this property. We only stayed two nights as Edinburgh and Glasgow were calling. Thanks for everything.
house was spotlessly clean, equipment all that you need. and beds really comfortable,Roz the host came to meet us at night, then phoned later on too say put heating on full and take duvets off other beds if your cold as the weather had taken a turn for the worse -6, as it was winter break we had for a week..we were snowed in first day/night but had Netflix to watch. Great house 10/10 Thanks Roz..

This is our annual visit and we have been coming here for years.
This is our annual visit and we have been coming here for years. Martin and Roz always give a lovely welcome and they leave a really nice welcome pack including bread, eggs, tea, coffee, wine etc. The cottage is excellent for Disabled people as it has a wet room with seat as an en-suite with the downstairs double bedroom. There are red Squirrels and Deer that regularly wander around although mainly seen early morning or during the night. It’s an excellent base for touring round other parts of the highlands too. Already booked for yet another visit next year.
