Within driving distance is the famous World Heritage Jurassic Coast with its superb scenery and coastal walking, which includes places such as Lyme Regis, Charmouth, Beer and Sidmouth. Nearer to home, there is a selection of beautiful historic houses to see such as Forde Abbey and Gardens and Montacute House. The Cider Mills at Dowlish are worth a visit, or perhaps go inland to the retail outlet at Clarks Village in Street, or the town of Glastonbury. Beach 12 miles.
