For the more energetic, there is Go Ape at Haldon, or for keen cyclists there is an amazing cycle path through the Haldon Forest, all off road. Take a trip to the seaside, visit Teignmouth or Shaldon, both having sandy beaches. There are lots of National Trust properties to visit. Torquay has lots to offer visitors including Kent’s Cavern, Living Coasts, theatre and boat trips to Brixham. If you fancy a flutter, there are two race tracks, one at Exeter and the other at Newton Abbot. There are also many shops and restaurants all close by. Beach 8 miles. Shop 1 mile.
