Lovely cottage tucked away from the main street but close to the canal and all amenities.
Lovely cottage tucked away from the main street but close to the canal and all amenities. Great to have own parking space. Kitchen is small as others have commented but perfectly adequate for the basics. Loved the wood burner.

Historically, this cottage is very interesting and quite rightly has protected status.
Historically, this cottage is very interesting and quite rightly has protected status. The street that it opens on to was a revelation. The location so close to the centre is perfect. The lounge is gloomy and would benefit if the walls were painted white: the soft furnishings are not very comfortable. We found it clean and warm throughout with a comfortable bed and a modernised bathroom. Despite very limited room in the kitchen it was adequate for food preparation. Overall good value for money.

Its location was ideal for us.
Its location was ideal for us. Just a minute away from the High Street but really quiet. The cottage had most things you might need. A little in need of an update though. There's no WiFe and though we aren't constant users we did miss it.

Lovely cottage with parking in a great location.
Lovely cottage with parking in a great location. Plenty to do, the canal a couple of minutes walk, Skipton Castle and the steam railway 5 minutes away. Lots of pubs and places to eat, would definately recommend this cottage to stay in the picturesque town of Skipton.

Clean, a little dated but warm and comfortable.
Great location 50 metres from the main street, 50 from one of the canals. Central for some great pubs with excellent food. Just check the Hoover power cord before you use it, on our visit it was damaged with exposed conductors. Skipton is a great base for the Dale's area, both Malham and Bolton Abbey a short drive away.
