Perfect For Us
Kudos to Host Mary!!! Excellent accommodations!!! Charming, comfy, convenient to restaurants and shopping in Eastport. The house is beautifully decorated with ample seating inside and outside on the spacious porch. Especially appreciated how well equipped the house was right down to tissues in every room! The kitchen had everything you could need or want. The selection of wine glasses was a perk.

Incredible! Best vacation ever
Best VRBO property experience ever. Best property and location and we enjoyed our trip tremendously. Eastport was the perfect, relaxing getaway and the house and property were amazing. We felt like guests at a friend’s home.

Early Fall Week getaway
The property was as advertised - many house amenities - well stocked with kitchen, bath and outdoor activity supplies. Lovely view and we had great weather for the end of September. The owner, Mary, was very responsive. Late season is a little tricky if you want to dine out during the week. Not much opened other than on weekends. Plan ahead for that.

Absolutely lovely house!
Staying at Mary’s was such a delight! The house was perfect! We saw seals, pilot whales, eagles and of course numerous loons from the deck. And being able to catch a glimpse of the Old Sow whirlpool from the house was also such a treat! The house had everything we needed and more. We’re already planning on coming back next year!

Gorgeous coastal views
This house accommodated my family of 7 very comfortably. The kitchen was well stocked (an important detail for me) and the house even had a myriad of cookbooks to pursue while we relaxed. The view from the back deck is absolutely stunning! We spent almost all of our time out there. We watched a bald eagle fly over our heads every afternoon around 3pm and we watched seals play in the water. The kids loved walking the beach and finding sea urchins, sand dollars and crabs. We will certainly rent this wonderful house again!

About the host

Host profile image
I grew up in Maryland and our family drove to Maine every summer for vacation. Time spent there made for the best memories. I recently bought the house from my parents to keep it in the family.

Why they chose this property

My parents purchased the land in the 70s and then my dad built the house and crafted every cabinet inside. A labor of love that we would like to share with you.

What makes this property unique

The views are spectacular showcasing both sunrise and sunset. The bay has 25 foot tides- watch the amazing change from low to high tide, right from the house. Walking the beach and climbing the rocks has always been my favorite pastime while visiting.
