"Goin' Coastal" offers comfortable and spacious accommodations for your Tybee Island vacation. This free-standing four-bedroom, 3.5-bath Beach Cottage is located on the south end of Tybee Island on 18th Street. Just a short distance, approximately 2/3 blocks from the beach, this cottage provides easy access to the beach via the padded crossover at the end of 18th Street.
The Tybee cottage features large porches, creating an inviting space to relax and unwind. The interior is thoughtfully designed, with a living room that opens directly to the dining and kitchen area. The fully equipped kitchen provides ample space for meal preparation, while the dining room comfortably seats eight guests. In the cozy coastal living room, you'll find a large high-definition TV and plenty of seating, including a queen sleeper sofa. Additionally, on the living level of the beach cottage is a half bathroom and laundry room with full size washer and dryer.
The sleeping arrangements at "Goin' Coastal" include a main king bedroom with an attached private bathroom and private porch access. Additionally, there is a king bedroom and a queen bedroom, both sharing a full bathroom located off the hallway.
Easily accessible from the main living level of "Goin' Coastal" is a separate bungalow that is connected to the main home via a walkway. The bungalow features a small living room area with a sleeper sofa, a kitchenette, a full bathroom, and a queen bedroom.
On the ground level, you'll find a covered outdoor space complete with a gas grill and outdoor furniture, providing a perfect spot for gatherings or enjoying the island's pleasant climate.

Great spot

Great location! We loved the house such a beautiful spot. Would absolutely come back. We didn’t see any towels or beach chairs to take down to the beach but other than that great stay!

Wonderful house in a great location right by the beach and an easy walk to the pier and shops and restaurants on Tybrisa Street. We had 4 adults, a teenager, a 10-year-old and our dog, and had plenty of room. Great for young kids and grandparents alike, and my teenager loved getting the bungalow to herself. Bring your own beach tent and chairs and a wagon to transport stuff and you will have a great time.

Tybee Family Get together

Grandparents, parents and children gathered to renew ties as we gathered from South Carolina, Georgia, and Germany in a large accomadation with fun activities including a dolphin tour, swimming in the ocean, and eating great seafood. We try to get together on Tybee whenever we can.

Teal House 16 18th Street Tybee

PREFECT LOCATION, PERFECT STAY FOR A BIG FAMILY!!! House very spacious, clean, VERY close to THE BEACH, to stores and local restaurants. House Included small MIL suite, a grill (full propane tank included) along with sitting areas. VERY SAFE not a lot of traffic (one way street). VERY quiet at night. Beds were big and comfortable! AC kept rooms cool! We will defiantly stay again!!! ENJOY!!!

Pros and Cons

This property has easy access to the beach, and is spacious even for a large family. The multiple balconies from all bedrooms and living room are very nice. The teenagers stayed in the bungalow, which was a plus for them and us. The bathroom in the bungalow is too small for adults. There is a great deal of traffic on this street, as all south beach traffic is routed down this street. The one major problem that we could not endure was the second king bed. It is as hard as a rock. Future renters need to know to plan accordingly. We solved the problem by busting out another $100 at the local Walmart for a three inch memory foam topper. We would stay here again.

Perfect location!

We had a group of 7 adults, 2 kids under 4 and a dog and we could not have had a better time! The location was perfect, right next to the beach with only a short walk to the little tourist area. We rented a golf cart to get around too. The house was spacious and clean and had all the amenities we needed j closing plenty of kitchen items for all the meals we cooked. Highly recommend!
