Daisy is a modern barn conversion near Blackawton, only a ten-fifteen minutes’ drive from the historic naval town of Dartmouth. This property sleeps five in two comfortable bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, a spacious lounge area with an enviable wood burning stove and ample outdoors space for al fresco dining and children’s play. This rural property also has a galleried seating area adjacent to the main entrance, providing the ideal spot for a morning brew. This is a baby friendly property with equipment provided and ample parking for two cars, making Daisy a perfect bolt hole for families.

In easy reach of Dartmouth and the beaches of Start Bay, the location offers a delightful balance between tranquillity and convenience, with a wealth of picturesque walks, welcoming local pubs and more on your doorstep. In the centre of the village on Main Street, the 14th century Parish Church of St Michael completes the setting whole-heartedly. The George Inn is a family-run pub in the heart of the village. This dog-friendly inn backs onto some beautiful South Hams countryside, and there are outside tables where you can relax and take in the scenery. Offering a unique holiday experience, Blackawton even has an annual worm charming festival! Nearby, Halwell is a small village in wooded farmland equidistant from the busy little town of Kingsbridge and popular Totnes - A charming Devon town with a bustling main street and a regular market, the area boasts regular outdoor markets on Fridays and Saturdays. During the main season, between May and September, there is an Elizabethan market each Tuesday morning.

Lovely break

The cottage was just as it was advertised, clean ,comfortable and very spacious.plenty of crockery and utensils.. The only drawback was it was a little off the beaten track Having said that we would highly recommend it.
