The garden was a nice area to get away from the crowds. Check in was difficult as contact numbers provided were not responded to, but ultimately we were met for access. Kitchen was well equipped if you choose to cook. Washing machine and dishwasher available, but if you plan to use bring your own soap. The bedding was comfortable, but towels could use an update. Many restaurants and night life available throughout the area.

First floor unit, very comfortable place with lots of dining right out the front door. Easy check in/check out. Host gave suggestions for things to do and places to eat.
Stayed with our family of 5, close to everything and lots of night life for the 20 somethings. Previous reviews complained about the noise at night but we didn't experience that at all. Totally recommend this place.
This little gem is located in the heart of the local nightlife. The house had a great layout and amazing backgrounds. Overall we really enjoyed our time here.
Great apartment in a great neighborhood with great management staff.

The location is perfect
Alexandra was a great host. She recommended great sites to see. The location is perfect for walking Rome. A bit of noise with the restaurant at your front door.. but otherwise had a great stay.
The location cannot be beat! Right off of a small Piazza in an alley, the apartment was the perfect base to explore the eclectic Trastevere neighborhood with bars and restaurants at your finger tips! We found the beds comfortable and the back patio was an added bonus! The stay was perfect for 4 adults and 2 kids who slept on the pullout sofa. The kitchen was well equipped to cook in, but plenty to do just steps from your door!
This apartment is in the perfect location. The environment is typical of the neighborhood with restaurants and shops. The one detractor is the graffiti outside the location, but there is graffiti on most every building in that area. The door lock is a single key you have to take with you so if some staying with you want to stay, they have to be locked in if you leave and take the key. Be careful with that aspect of the apartment. The rooms are spacious and very clean. It is quite in the upstairs bedrooms and the back garden is lovely.

Dear Jeffrey
thank you for your detailed and thoughtful feedback! We’re so glad you enjoyed the apartment’s location, space and quiet bedrooms overlooking the garden. We appreciate your note about the key system and understand your point, it’s helpful feedback for us and future guests. It was a pleasure hosting you and we’d love to welcome you back to Rome!
best regards
The location was fantastic! Our family of 4 had plenty of space and slept well here. The kitchen seemed well equipped, although we did not actually do any cooking. There are many delicious restaurants nearby. There is also a great bar around the corner for our morning cappuccinos/evening drinks. Beautiful narrow cobblestone streets. The area is simply magical!
Location to main attractions about a 25 minute walk. Normally not a big deal but the heat was excessive when we were there. The 2nd night we were there we came back to a street/alley with table setting for a restaurant which was right outside our door. It was very noisy for sleeping.

Pictures misrepresent property
Overall disappointed with property. It felt tired and dingy. Beds weren’t made up when we arrived, dishwasher still had dishes from last visitor, outdoor cushions were left in the rain, so we couldn’t use them to sit outside.
While the location was good, we didn’t spend much time in the unit.

Hello we let the guest in before check in time so that is why the apartament was not ready yet. Unfortunately we are not responsable for the weather, there was heavy rain during the night and previous guests did not take away the cushions outside

Too loud.
The apartment is located next to a restaurant that is open all night. The restaurant’s outdoor seating went across the front door of the apartment which meant you had people eating dinner at midnight right at your front door. To get in the apartment we had to walk between restaurant tables. Totally crazy. No one was as able to get any sleep. There is also a square about two hundred yards to the left of the apartment where college kids drink and party until 3-4 in the morning every night. The apartment was fine but needs a deep cleaning. However, the noise was terrible and ruined our stay.

Dear guest, we are sorry to hear that. The entrance of the apartment is close to a restaurant: they are allowed to have tables next to the apartment entrance not in front of the entrance so – if that was the case – we will report the violation to the municipal authority. We are also planning to install some vases to delineate the perimeter. The Trastevere area is a very popular place full of restaurants and bars: it can be noisy indeed but this is also its charm. We can understand that whoever is not used to the lively atmosphere of this neighborhood can find it noisy but most of our guests choose it because of his proximity to the main touristic sites and its characteristic vibe. Besides the restaurant – which closes at midnight – the street is very quiet compared to others in the same area, and many rooms of the flat overlook the back courtyard. As for the cleaning, if you were not satisfied you could have told us at check in and we would have sent an extra cleaning.

Misleading title
First the cons. The title says elegant place. There is no elegance for this place. It is rustic urban. A bit rundown and tired in the furnishings. Second the place says air conditioning and we needed air conditioning. However, the one unit didn’t work making the front bedroom very very warm. The managements answer was open the windows. However, the street noise is very high especially we were there on a Friday night. The noise didn’t stop till after 3 AM. I know that is not an issue with the unit but certainly opening the windows wasn’t going to make things any better. a few small nitty things include there was no garbage can or recycling bins in the kitchen. The pros the management was accommodating enough to allow us to bring our luggage early. Communication was pretty good until I asked about the air conditioning then they went silent.
We enjoyed our stay at this apartment in Rome. The location was superb - next door to a fantastic restaurant and within a modest walk to most of Rome's historic sites.
While we loved the location, the property itself left much to be desired. While nice and quaint, the photos in the listing are very dated. There was a small broken window in the kitchen, no toilet paper upon arrival, furniture was worn. There is a nice courtyard in the back, but the outdoor furniture was not particularly clean.
I would caution that it would be very challenging for 6 people to sleep there comfortably. There are two bedrooms, each with a bed for two and no room in either bedroom for additional people.
Several small things throughout are what caused us to give a slightly lower rating. For instance, only three bulbs worked on the strand of lights in the courtyard, the TP, etc.
On the plus side, the hosts were very kind and responsive when we asked questions. The power went out one day -which caused our hot water to stop- and they quickly told us how to get the breaker reset. They provided a helpful map and other information to get us started. We appreciated their kindness throughout.

Great Location and Team, but the Property Needs Some Attention
Our stay at this property had its highs and lows. On the positive side, the communication with the host was excellent. The team was friendly, responsive, and quickly helped resolve an issue I caused during our stay, which I greatly appreciated. The location in Trastevere is unbeatable—vibrant, full of life, with amazing food, shops, and locals. You truly get the best of Rome's charm in this neighborhood.
However, the property itself left a lot to be desired. It’s aged and didn’t feel well-maintained. The second bathroom was very small and barely usable, and several features, like the sticky doors, made the space feel neglected. The cleanliness was also an issue—it never quite felt clean, which detracted from the overall experience. The description of the place was accurate but didn't convey some of these details that would have been good to know beforehand.
Overall, while the location is fantastic and the team is great, the property itself could use some work to make it feel more comfortable.
My partner and I are middle-aged, and the price range suggests that this property is targeted toward a similar demographic. However, if you’re younger, you might overlook some of the things we found bothersome—such as the state of maintenance or the smaller bathroom—which we tend to take for granted at this price point.
The property is very cool and in the heart of Trastevere. Olga met us and gave us great info and was very responsive.
I loved the private courtyard, complete with an orange tree! The lawn furniture wasn't well maintained though, stained with mildew, so we covered the cushions with garbage bags.
The smaller bathroom wasn't clean either- there was mold in the shower, and the bathmat came up black when I put in on the tile file. Considering there is an additional cleaning fee for this property, this was particularly unacceptable.
The hot water was unreliable. There is an on-demand tank, which had to be reset every time you wanted a hot shower.
There is a pull out sofa in the living room, which we used for our party of 5. The restaurant next door is very noisy, with people literally right out the front door, so the person sleeping on the couch had a hard time.
We requested a late checkout, which was allowed for an extra 30 euros. We clearly communicated our departure time, but a man let himself into the apartment twice while we were still there, asking if we had left yet!
It's a good location in a fun area, but the apartment could use some improvements.
Koselig leilighet sentralt i Trastevere. Bortsett fra problemer med låsen i utgangsdøren var alt bra.

Cosy, quiet and fantastic atmosphere
Great, cosy, quiet (for a big city) and pleasant apartment with lots of charm and atmosphere. Situated very central in Rome. Only 15 min walk from the big attractions but in a quiet and cosy area. Restaurants (and great coffee) just around the corner from the apartment. The host/agency was very helpful and kind.
