About the host
Hosted by Julia
We are John & Julia, the owners of Manor Farm which is a working sheep farm. We are new to farming and have learnt lots about our growing flock of Jacob, Herdwick and South Down sheep. We also have 2 goats who love to interact with our guests, chickens, ducks, a dog called Honey who loves everyone and 2 cats called Smudge & Tigger. We have pigs that you can see during the summer (and bacon and sausages available to buy in the freezer!)
Why they chose this property
This is a truly special place and perfect for that romantic get away. It's airy open plan living space has patio doors with the most stunning uninterrupted views while also having a double sided log burner between this space and the bedroom. Exposed beams and original stone walls add enormous character, while the roll topped bath add luxury and indulgence.
What makes this property unique
A stay at Manor House Farm Cottages will create many lasting memories as it is such a special place. We feel fortunate every day to live in an area of outstanding beauty and look forward to sharing the experience with our guests. Our small woodland is a special place and for people interested in history, we also have 2 neolithic burial mounts, a lime kiln and a mine shaft on our 50 acres of land.
