Our enchanting, small scale rural estate in the Algarve is an ”all season” haven.

The inspiring estate is located in the South-West Algarve, the region that is blessed with the most sun hours of Europe, 5km from the lively harbour town of Lagos en 1,5km from the white, sandy beach of Meia Praia bay. As the accommodation is built on a hilltop, there are magnificent views of the rural country with its old almond, fig and olive trees.
The authentic and personal character of the place creates an open and relaxed atmosphere. Guests can freely explore the grounds, pick fruit, herbs and vegetables, collect eggs, dream away in a hammock or take a dive in the large swimming pool.
The Quinta has two guesthouses, a loft apartment and two rooms.
The first guesthouse, ´A Granja´ is a very cosy guesthouse with one bedroom with double bed, a spacious bathroom with traditional Portuguese tiles, bathtub and shower and a living room with fireplace and kitchen area. The house is surrounded by terraces, one under the ancestral ´Alfarrobeira´(carob tree) with entrance to the pool, one with view of the inner garden and the Monchique Mountains and a sun terrace. A Granja boasts a beautiful outdoor kitchen with barbecue.

A Vivenda is a beautiful guesthouse, built separately from the main house. It is built in traditional style with modern day comfort. It has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two individual beds. The lounge is tastefully decorated and has a huge antique fireplace. There is a separate kitchen with an Italian cooker and dishwasher and the traditionally tiled bathroom has a shower and two basins set in natural stone. From the private veranda and terrace you have restful views of the surrounding countryside.

The Loft Apartment, with extra bedroom, has a vintage style living kitchen and a spacious bathroom. At the heart of the Loft Apartment you´ll find a breath-taking, bright 50m2 lounge with a comfortable sleeping area. The cosy bedroom with wooden floor and ceiling sleeps 3. Both the lounge and bedroom have beautiful views of the surrounding country side and they are independently connected to a landing that leads to the kitchen and the bathroom. French doors in the kitchen give onto a terrace and to the inner garden with vegetable and herb gardens, terraces, fruit trees and a traditional bread oven that is occasionally lit for a pizza night.
The Chapel Suite is a stunning room with a vaulted ceiling, a kitchenette and romantic bathroom in Moorish style with bath and shower. Huge doors open onto a private terrace and the inner garden. Price of the Suite is 575 euro per week.
The Chapel Room is our smallest unit. It is a lovely room with a kitchenette and spacious bathroom in Moorish style. The entrance door gives onto a gallery that leads to the inner garden.
The Loft Appartment and the two rooms together are very suitable for larger parties.

All units at the Quinta are connected by a lush inner garden with old olive trees, stone paths and steps, herb and vegetable patches and fruit trees. In the centre of the garden you´ll find a stone paved circle with a traditional bread oven and a barbecue. Occasionally we will light the oven and arrange a pizza gathering with guests and friends.
