Sunny, cosy, private cottage by the beach

Beach Cottage Torquay is a delightful, bright, cosy, 2-storey private beach house near the beach. First class furnishings throughout.

Torquay's magnificent beaches are only just a short stroll away. Beautifully appointed, fully self contained with private entrance, garden and off-street parking. Beach Cottage has up to 3 good-sized bedrooms available and sleep 2 to 6 people. Upstairs is the kitchen/dining/living area and one QS bedroom. Downstairs, is the main QS bedroom with ensuite plus another bedroom with 2 single beds and the main bathroom.

Beach Cottages are perfect for that intimate, romantic holiday and yet large enough for the family. Overnight, weekend or weekly accommodation. Please note, we do have a minimum of 2 nights on weekends, 3 nights on long weekends, 5 nights over Easter and 1 week bookings over the Christmas holiday period.

Location

Beach Cottages Torquay complex is located on the corner of 121 The Esplanade & Aquilla Avenue, Torquay - just over the road from our magnificent beaches. Within walking distance to shops. Short stroll to free tennis courts, children's playground, Deep Creek walking track.

Located by the beach means that we enjoy the afternoon sea breeze on hot days with ceiling fans fitted. Reverse cycle aircon is also fitted.

Tiger Moth World specialising in vintage, bi-plane (Tiger Moth) flights, aerobatic flights, skydiving, 12 Apostles Air Adventures and also Torquay Mini Golf for the whole family. Home to world famous surf shops - Ripcurl & Quiksilver and SurfWorld Museum. Torquay is also at the start of the Great Ocean Road - the spectacular must do drive!

Loved Beach Cottage. Great location so close to the beach and a very pleasant walk to the town. It is well equipped, has comfortable beds and delightful gardens. A really relaxing home. Coffee at the Salty Dog early morning, meals at the Bowlo, the Torquay Hotel and Il Matto all very good. Sandra very quick to respond to any requests.

Beach cottage a great spot

This place is in a fabulous location- close to the beach, a walk into town centre but far away to avoid the busyness of peak holiday season. The cottage had everything we needed and was a little oasis. Thanks.

Fantastic beach house

It was perfect, fantastic light lounge and kitchen, great mattresses and quiet at night for sleeping. Wonderful location just across the road from the beach and a short dive to the main shops. We also loved the off road parking and relaxing in the bath and it's great having two bathrooms. Everything you could need, thanks so much.

Torquay beachside

A cosy property in a superb position. Upstairs heats up very readily <28deg days -not sure how the air-con would cope in hotter weather. Couches were very uncomfortable for us. Lovely garden setting. Great walking paths nearby with little need for the car once there.

Thank you for your positive review, Louise. We are in a superb location with a private garden setting. The upstairs is bright and sunny which is perfect for most of the year. The aircon does work well in hotter weather. In addition, the joys of living by the beach mean that we also get to enjoy the sea breeze in the afternoons by simply opening up the doors and windows. The couches are soon to be replaced but thank you for your feedback.

Would recommend this rental great location walkable distance to beach with kids.

Great little house provided with everything plus lots of little extra’s shampoo, dish washing liquid salt pepper. Would like to see dead lock on front door as we had child with special needs. A a lock on driveway gate that locks , but otherwise couldn’t fault accommodation will be back, we loved our short stay.

Wonderful Cosy Cottage

We had a weekend stay here for two of us to participate in the Great Ocean & Otway Classic Ride. Sandra was great with information prior to our arrival, and was happy for us to check-out a little later than usual. The house was spotlessly clean upon arrival. The property is quite private, but close to The Esplanade and beach. The living space is not huge, but was fine for 3 adults and 1 child. A well-appointed kitchen made meal preparation easy. The only minor hassle for residents in the upstairs bedroom is that the toilets and bathrooms are all downstairs. We very much enjoyed our short stay, and plan to return during slightly warmer weather to make the most of the proximity to the beach!

Great place for a break.

Sandra was helpful and prompt in her replies to my enquiry’s. Booking was simple. The location was 20 minute walk to town centre and cafes and a 4 minute drive. Beach was across the road so 2 minute walk. House was lovely, peaceful clean and well equipped. We had a lovely stay and would book again.

Immaculate accommodation

Excellent accommodation, easy to book and pay online, contact details for owners available and easy to access, easy to find in a quiet street with ocean views from top floor, a 5 minute walk to the beach, everything you need in the accommodation for a family holiday, immaculate house very clean so we could let our baby crawl around, lovely yard with lush lawn for the kids to play on, all the comforts of home in a convenient location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon and make it our regular holiday accommodation.

Beach Cottage is located only a short stroll to one of the many beautiful beaches in Torquay. Torquay is unique in that it has endless beaches to explore. The beaches along The Esplanade (Whites Beach, Fisherman's Beach, the front beach and cosy corner) are more protected and perfect for swimming, walking or just relaxing. But if you prefer something a bit more exciting/surfing, the Torquay back beach is only 2km away. Just out of Torquay, you'll find the world famous Bells Beach for serious surfers.

Torquay is the start of the Great Ocean Road - a magnificent coastline.

What makes this property unique

Beach Cottage is close to the beach, yet it is very private. Located on its own private property, surrounded by gardens and trees. It has a lovely, bright sunny aspect with views over the surrounding gardens.

We personally clean/disinfect the property between stays to ensure the highest possible cleaning standards.
