Avoca Beach House - Best location beach and shops a flat easy 50 meters away.

Wow your own STAND ALONE COTTAGE on the WATER of Avoca lagoon. Everything you need is a short walk, the beach, shops, restaurants, tennis courts and Avoca oval. DOG FRIENDLY. Nightly price is dropped to $500/night min 3 nights except for peak periods. This is a real find read our reviews. Our terrific beach house is very popular, most of our guests return. We encourage family & pet stays. The house faces north and is on the water's edge, the shops & park are only are 50m away. The yard is enormous & flat & partly fenced to enclose your dogs. All you need for a great escape and less than an hour from Hornsby.

Weekend Travel SMH reviewed our house, 'the house has a wonderful setting overlooking both the lagoon & the thundering surf..........Flanked by giant pines front and back, the simple rectangular home has a lounge area. The polished floor boards, covered with rugs, flow through into a central sitting area beside the wood burner. The kitchen is stocked with every conceivable pot, pan & utensil, plus its own bar fridge..
There are two bedrooms, one with the Queen bed and the other with a bunks and single bed...
The bright bathroom is spacious with bath/shower and handrail. The washing machine and dryer tucked are inside a cupboard.'

A gas 4 burner BBQ is on the deck. And the house is surprisingly quiet despite its central position.
The house is AIRCONDITIONED.

DOGS are WELCOME. Fenced dog run 15m x 30m.
You'll love the position, close to shops and beach and it is wonderful to let the kids & dogs run around in full view from the deck.

Great location!

Lovely little cottage, perfect for a family of 5. Great views across the lagoon, easy to watch your kids play on the sand from the back deck. Extra bonus we could bring our 2 dogs along for a holiday as well.

We booked our staycation last minute for a few days away with our furbaby. The place was exactly as described was enough for our family to enjoy. Avoca Beach House had everything we needed for a low key Easter break. Great location right on the lagoon and beach off leash area; we enjoyed walking, kayaking and paddleboarding with our two dogs, movies at the gorgeous Avoca Theatre and relaxing with a family bbq on the deck. Unpretentious and well equipped this is a friendly and well loved cottage with many thoughtful touches that we really appreciated.

Fantastic location

We had a wonderful week's stay over New Year. It was our second time, after doing a weekend trip earlier in the year. It was perfect for our two kids (11 13 years) and dog, as the lake, beach, shops and cafes are all so close. Our dog loved swimming in the lake and we spent hours on our stand up paddle board. This time we also tried out Avoca's vintage movie theatre, also an easy walk from the house. We loved sitting on the deck and looking out at the lake, and playing the board games on offer. It was a really relaxing stay and we look forward to coming back again.

Great family weekend away

We had a great weekend away at this house. We stayed with our two kids (12 and 10) and our dog. The house is in an ideal location - the off-leash lagoon is right in front of the house and the shops are a 3mins walk away. Our kids and dog loved the lagoon. We hired kayaks and stand up paddle boards (30m away). Communication with Sarah was excellent and the house was comfortable and the yard and porch was secured to keep our dog contained. We will definitely be back!

Beach and Lake. Best of both worlds.

We had a lovely family stay here with our small dog. The property is well established as a holiday rental. Communication was excellent and checkin was seemless. The dog run is basically a big yard, just along the side of the property, so is well suited for dogs. The location is superb. One of the best dog beach areas we have ever stayed. You have a short sandy walk to the beach or just behind the house is the lake. We ended up grabbing a SUP and exploring the lake every day. The Avoca shops are just across the road. Cafes, Malaysian, Chinese and awesome pizza just a short stroll away. We would definitely recommend staying here and hope to return in the future.

Had a great weekend with family and two small dogs. The location was dog heaven for us our two little dogs. We all enjoyed walking straight out on to the beach and sitting out on the deck looking out to the water views. We could also hear the ocean.

Cosy beach house in amazing location

This is a great location for a family with dog, right on the lagoon and a few steps from Avoca Beach. It’s an uncomplicated older style beach house with everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. We’d definitely come back.
