Jamevin Mountain retreat - Hidden Gem Perfect for Families & Large Groups

Jamevin Lodge is a unique custom built family holiday home, boasting 7 large bedrooms including 6 bathrooms and great entertaining areas for up to 25
people.

This house is nestled in bushland on top of a 400ha mountain top resort with bush walking trails and access to a communal tennis court & pool (located a 4 min walk from the house).

The home also includes a private hot spa on your large private deck nestled in 5 acres . To make your stay a genuine pleasure the lodge Includes such activities as a pool table, darts, area for cricket, basket ball, net ball, foot ball, or just relax in front of a fire place.

Expansive verandas/balcony provide spectacular views across the Hunter region toward Maitland and one of Australia's largest and awe-inspiring National Parks.

Guests can discover our mountaintop wilderness resort in a variety of ways. On foot, in, Mountain Bikes or relaxing bush walks. Every day can be an adventure from the accessible private rain-forest, to the lookout at the Mount George Trig Station.

Coo-ee Trail in Vacy is a nature-based resort with over 640 acres (259ha) of natural adventure land featuring an amazing variety of fauna and flora. Native animals which have made Coo-ee Trail their home include; Kangaroos, Wallaroos, Wallabies, Echidnas, Goannas and that is before you look skyward and marvel at King Parrots, Eastern and Crimson Rosellas, Red-Browed Firetails, Blue Wrens, Bush Doves and our namesake, the majestic Wedge tailed Eagle.

It can cater for a large family or group who wish to completely escape into a bushland retreat with all the luxury of your own house.

The 18m by 5m deck offers plenty of space to enjoy the company of friends while relaxing in the spa, cooking on the BBQ or just lazing in the sun.

Please note, we have installed 2 outdoor cameras at the property for security purposes: One is monitoring the driveway to the property & car park, and the other is covering the deck area (facing towards the dining table).

The road up the mountain was exciting. There were 11 adults (3 generations in our group). We all walked up the hill to the recreation area and used the pool, tennis court and ping pong table. The house provided plenty of space in the kitchen/dining room for us to enjoy our Mexican evening and pool comp.All 11 of us agreed the accommodation, views and amenities are 5 star and perfect for a fun weekend. Amazing stay

We had a great time at Jamevin! All the bedrooms are large and most have ensuites which our guests loved. The main kitchen/dining/lounge area is huge and has all the things you could need for a stay. Amazing views and loved the spa. Only downfall was no wifi and the mobile data is patchy.

Big house in Vacy

Our stay was wonderful. House has everything you need for large groups. Family really enjoyed the hot tub and playing pool. Large porch is enclosed which made it easy to watch the kids play while adults relaxed. Thanks for a great stay Denis.

Good Family Getaway Spot

This was a great place for a family weekend away. Plenty of space for our large family to mingle and also to retreat into our own private bedrooms and ensuites. The extra shared amenities were good too, with the communal tennis court and table tennis table getting a good work out.

A nice weekend away

The host was a pleasure to deal with and arranging our stay was frictionless. Their house was well presented and tidy with a great wood fire that kept us all warm, in a nice area with communal facilities within walking distance.

The host stands out Number one for communicationthe house was clean and tidy There was enough space for everyoneThe spa was nice and didn’t smell like other places I’ve been to. The house was nice and cool when we entered - especially as it was an extremely hot day. The area is beautiful with friendly kangaroos right under our balcony. The signs around the house made it easy to follow instructions. The first aid kit was visible and easy to find. (Not that it was needed - but I know my health and safety: so it’s important to see that it is there and available )Above all the just stands out for me- he made us feel very welcome and it was very easy to reach him when we needed him. Thanks again Denis for sharing your home with us and all the best in future bookings - we had a lovely stay

We are on 5 Acres & part of 1000 acres with abundance fauna & flora described by many a hidden Gem..Lots bush walking trails... bird watching... Yabbie dams Lagoon... fishing..Lots native animals.. 4 wheel tracks or just relax & enjoy on our large deck with magnificent mountains views, two days will never be enough.

COVID 19..We have 3 large hand sanitiser spray in our home.
Their are Many signed around regarding social distancing is maintained & hands are washed regularly also in all bedrooms..
Our cleaners do extra cleaning & over 60 items are wiped over with disinfectant after lodge has been cleaned.
