The Boat House - Kingscote Kangaroo Island

This spacious 4 bedroom home has main with ensuite. kitchen, dining family, and separate lounge. Has all the mod cons and is walking distance to the waters edge, minutes drive to the town centre and jetty. The Boat house is a great base from which to explore what Kangaroo island has to offer. A couple of days just isn't enough!!!

The Boat House is situated in Kingscote, 2 streets back from the beach. Kingscote is a great little town, with lovely views, terrific fishing, an great stepping stone to head off to all the wonderful locations Kangaroo Island Has to offer.

MASTER BEDROOM with ENSUITE has a queen size bed, bed side tables, lamps, alarm clock and build in mirrored robes.

SECOND BEDROOM has a double bed, bedside table, lamps, and alarm clock & built in robes.

THIRD BEDROOM has 2 x king single beds and built in robes.

FOURTH BEDROOM has 2 x Bunk beds.

FULLY EQUIPPED KITCHEN with breakfast bar, full size fridge/freezer, stainless electric oven and cook top, microwave, toaster , kettle, pots, pans, serving dishes, cutlery, cooking utensils glassware, CD player/radio.

OPEN PLAN LOUNGE & DINING has comfy L shaped lounge to lay around and relax, TV, DVD player, coffee table. Large dinning table.

SECOND LOUNGE with 2 x 2 seaters is a great place to escape an read a book while over looking the native birds in the garden outside.

BATHROOM has a full size bath and Shower, toilet, vanity, & mirror.

LAUNDRY has washing machine, iron, ironing board & old maid. Clothes Line out side, pegs supplied.

Lovely stay in a lovely house

The house is lovely to stay in and a great place to rest your head (and legs) after a day out exploring the Island. The house is well appointed with more space than your average holiday house. We did have issues with the TV reception but it wasn't much. A very quiet location with friendly neighbours.

Lovely Surprise!

Really well set up, everything thought of and lovely personal touches everywhere. Plenty of space for a family or group of friends. Clean and tidy. Great communication with the owner. close walk to a sandy beach and Tidal pool. Short drive to town. Only negatives are lack of rails on entrance steps and non slip shower mats needed. Overall a great place to stay and would highly recomend it. Would stay here again! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Considering the terrible circumstances of the worst bushfires that KI has ever see, the property was immaculate & in such a convenient location. We unfortunately had 2 cut our stay short by 3 days & Sarah was outstanding in communication & understanding. I, seriously can't recommend their property or service enough. We wish we could have stayed the entire time. It was comfortable, clean & well provisioned. We greatly appreciate everything that Sarah has done for us & hope to visit again. Kind Regards Kim

The home was perfect for our needs for this trip! Great layout with two living areas, spacious and everything was there that you need! the kitchen was fully decked out and first place I've stayed at where there was actually a reasonable amount of pots and pans and utensils! It was so handy to have all the linen provided as one less thing to have to take along in the car too. Very handy location and quite central to most attractions. Would definitely stay there again if we get back to K.I in the future. Thanks for providing home away from home!

Loved the gardens,and not far to town, first day we were walking in the rain to go get our hire car and a lovely lady picked us up, everyone was so friendly and helpful, would certainly love to holiday there again.
