This property really is special. The view and surroundings are fabulous, and inside is spacious and very comfortable. Exploring the spectacular area from 'cape to cape' with this home as our base over four days was easy and so enjoyable we would love to return in future.
Exactly as listed on Stayz. Cute 2 room studio with fantastic views from the balcony. Had all the function required for a short stay. Bed super comfortable.
Really enjoyed our stay(z).
We had an excellent stay at this awesome little property and will definitely return for future trips. Beautiful views of the ocean, short walk to Eagle Bay Beach, great location in general. My only improvement suggestion would be to install a dishwasher, it wasn't a cheap rate to stay and it would have been nicer not to be hand washing everything we used.
Of course the position is great, and thats why this flat will go on being rented whatever the feedback. But the interior is a bit underwhelming. Having so many notices taped up on the wall and fridge gives an unwelcoming and down-market vibe.
It also needs a better sunshade arrangement - an awning would make the terrace much more useable than with the spindly umbrella, and would do the place more justice.

It was never stated that there was no oven. The electric stove top only 1 burner worked. Did not state that you had to go up quite a large staircase to get in. No instructions for how the video machine and tv worked. A two seater for a couch and no shade for the back balcony Other then that it had a beautiful view of the ocean and very quiet and the bed was very comfortable

Hi Lauren, thank you for your feedback. I have reviewed the listing information, and have added another mention of the toaster oven, in the hopes that future guests will find this clearer. I have also found a new section of Stayz that allows us to indicate the stair access, so thank you for flagging that. Please bear in mind that you have booked through a company whose job is to assist you with any issues you may have during your stay. Since being made aware of the problem with the hotplate (via a conversation with the owner, not yourself), we immediately supplied an interim solution and have ordered a replacement hotplate which will be installed upon arrival. There is an umbrella in the walk-in wardrobe with a clear sign above it to notify guests of its location, which again we could have let you know had you reached out to ask. We have not previously had any issues with guests operating the TV (and unsure of what you mean by video machine? there is no DVD player nor is it advertised as having one) so had not provided instructions - we will look into this and assess what is required. We will send feedback to the owners regarding the couch. In the future, I hope you will choose to reach out directly to your host to share your constructive criticism to see if they can offer you any solutions before taking the issues to a public review. A lot of hard work goes into supplying this accommodation, so we would love to have the opportunity to improve your experience as best we can.
Easy to find, good clear instructions.
The owners next door were delightful. We only saw them briefly and chatted with them and their lovely dog. They have the most beautiful garden to look over and walk through.
The unit has wonderful views. The kitchen is basic but fully functional. The lounge chairs aren’t very comfortable but we managed ok. The bed mattress is great but unfortunately the wooden frame creaks a lot on the window side.
The owners were very helpful as when we had a power cut one evening they brought over a solar powered lamp. It would be helpful if some provision is made for such occurrences as apparently power cuts are not uncommon in the busy summer period. It only lasted about an hour but there were no working torches.
The positives were more than the negatives and we did love Eagle Bay and would happily return if on another visit from the UK.

Hi Anne, thank you so much for your lovely review and your thoughtful feedback. I am really sorry there wasn’t a functioning torch, we do strive to have one available as we are very familiar with power cuts here! I will make sure we put one in now that you have let us know. Safe onward travels and I hope we can host you again 😊 Ali
The holiday home is comfortable and well equipped with the essentials for a couples stay. We loved the view and the peaceful mornings and evening on the balcony- need to remember binoculars next time for whale spotting and bird watching! A great stay.
