Pleasant stay in Port Fairy

Booking and check in went smoothly. The house is well equipped and comfortable. Great location - easy walk into town and across the road from the beach. The public toilet block opposite is a bit of an eyesore but the view is still pretty good.

Lovely but Disappointing & Expensive

A lovely place to stay, but most of the bond was taken from us, for 2 broken glasses. We have rented a lot of holiday homes & like to leave neat & tidy, however were also charged for extra cleaning. A dish was broken Before we arrived and we were charged for that. Don’t ask friends over during the day, as this is not allowed!

Great beachfront location

Great location directly across from East Beach. Outdoor shower for a wash after a swim. Spacious bedrooms, presented in exceptional condition. Outdoor deck protected from the weather at the rear. Would happily stay again and was perfect for hosting a group lunch. Only improve would be some additional couches if a group of 5-6 people are staying. Thanks.

Nice house, but felt dirty.

Great house on beautiful beach, well appointed with beach view. However, the house just felt dirty, it was poorly cleaned (e.g. Food in fridge, undies in laundry, dirty floors - ABSOLUTELY FILTHY windows); probably not helped by the fact that it overlooks a public toilet block. We cleaned the windows as best we could and that helped, but would have preferred not have needed to do this on a holiday. The shower dripped for 2 nights before the plumber arrived and despite raising the issue of the leaking toilet, it was still leaking after the plumbers visit. Credit to the owner who was responsive in organising the plumber, but the end result was 7 nights of hearing water leaks. I would recommend this house, if new cleaners are appointed and overall building maintenance is improved. Left disappointed, just not good enough for the price.

Top notch luxury accomodation.

The beds were comfy, as were the couches, and it was great to have quality cooking equipment, and plenty of crockery and cutlery. Obviously the view is unsurpassed, but it was the small touches that impressed us - plenty of toilet paper, extra towels, decent sized airing racks, and the kids loved having a TV in 'their' bedroom. We stayed a night longer than planed, which was quickly and easily arranged. Thanks for a fabulous mini holiday.

We stayed at aloha for my partners birthday. It was a wonderful experience. The property was clean & very well equipped. The outlook is absolutely stunning. The owner are great to deal with. Very prompt in replying to emails and making the booking process run smoothly and promptly. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay somewhere with some class & style. Perfect for a romantic getaway.

$300 a night expected a bit more than we got: Toilet block directly across the road No curtains/blinds on top level!! No ceiling fans in downstairs bedrooms No bedside lamps BBQ area was filthy TV was hopeless dropping out on virtually all stations Told to sweep floors prior to leaving!! Will not be staying there again
