It was a quaint little cottage. Great, quiet location.Could not park under carport due to campervan being there. If staying take own pillows and towels.Photos do not reflect current property.
We loved our stay! The cottage is full of character and incredibly spacious. It’s also close to town—we were able to walk everywhere. The host was very quick to respond to any questions. We would definitely stay here again!

Bed sheets were dirty, there was dog hair all over the couch and floor rug, its is a old cute cottage but it could do with a bit of work. Has a carport but you cant use it as the it a trailer parked under it.

Property had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. Photos did not match state of property
This cottage was spotlessly clean, handy to everything and charmingly presented.
We had a lovely short stay and would be happy to return.
I think that this Stayz host has a great eye for detail and for interior decoration.
Perfect for a week’s beach stay with my dog.
Such a comfy, tidy and well-equipped home with all the kitchen, bathroom and laundry amenities you could need and a lovely living area with plenty of interesting local history in pictures and books, plus lots of games provided. The house has a lovely back yard, with plenty of shade while allowing sunshine in as well, completely fenced & gated, with great bbq and seating facilities too.
Excellent communication from the owner - we really enjoyed our stay and will look to stay again some time.

Sweet cottage, neglected in its care.
This is a quaint country cottage in a good location, well stocked with all needed. I booked this close to my son and his new baby, but it is so dusty, unkempt and in need of some upgrades, I could not relax. Outside furniture dirty (which we cleaned), one broken/rotted slat on old outdoor chair. Inside rattan coming off chair leg, chipped crockery. The main bedroom was quite nice, the second bedroom dusty and thick dust around the bed legs and a very dark room. The third bedroom had a crumpled and stained white sheet and underneath a grey sheet with stones and bits of insects on and so small. I am very sad as this was supposed to be a lovely family gathering. We left 25th Dec at lunchtime.
In need of some time away, the cottage provided a great location for stretching the legs, catching some fresh air and yet still close enough to enjoy the coffee shops and cafes of Queenscliff. And with the off lead beach across the road, the fur children were also able to thoroughly enjoy their time away.
Enjoyed our stay after we got used to the eclectic decorations and furnishings of the house! The owner was very helpful when we required extra bedding. Only 2 oil heaters worked to warm the house. The 3rd bedroom was tiny but perfect for teenagers. Location was easy 10min walk in to town. Perfect yard for our 2 little dogs.
Lesley was fantastic to communicate with. Her house is lovely and within walking distance to everything. She had bowls available for dogs to use, even though we took our own. I loved reading about the history of the property! The front room/s were set up in a great way with plenty of space to sit and talk.
We had an excellent holiday in this unique budget cottage. I loved reading the history in the visitors book, and my kids loved the quirky knickknacks decorating the house and the swing in the backyard. Our dog was secure in the fenced backyard. We walked to the beach across the road several times a day, it was glorious!
