Casa D'Avó (The Granny's House) offers a unique opportunity for you and your family to enjoy this beautiful city staying on a traditional and cozy Porto house. Available to you is a fully furnished floor that includes 1 suite equipped with 2 single beds, 1 room with a double bed, 1 room with 2 single beds, kitchen and a common room with Sofa Bed. All room are equipped with TV and AC. Casa D'Avó is a house with 2 independent and fully furnished floors that accommodates 5 to 6 guests each. In case you need both floors, please do not hesitate to check availability with us . This listing is referring to one of the floors located on the lower level.
You are located on a very central place and with easy access to the major highlights and routes from this region. The house is located on a park and within walking distance (10min) from the Dragon Stadium…home for FC Porto, the local Football team. They have a very nice museum dedicated to the history of the club. Very close to the house you can find a couple of bakeries with lovely pastries…perfect for breakfast and quick lunch as well. You have also available a small grocery shop where you can do convenience shopping. If you like to go to a bigger mall with fashion stores, restaurants, cinema and a bigger supermarket, you will find ALAMEDA SHOP & SPOT just next door to the Stadium and 10 min walking from the house. Also close to the Stadium you have the Metro Station that can take you to anywhere in the city…including the airport.

Everything was perfect

Since we nooked the property everything went smoothly. Owner Manuela and her son waited for us for late check-in as we had late evening flight. Menuela made us cake (soft and yummy) and gave some port wine. Property was clean and comfortable. Having air conditioning in all bedrooms helped as it was hot. Only Missed not having an oven as eating out all week can be expensive. On last day our flight was at 9.15 so Manuela offered to look after our luggage until later whilch helped us to make the most of our last day in Porto. Will love to stay again on our next trip to Portugal.

Endroit pratique pour visiter la ville

La maison est plutôt un appartement (nous étions situé à l'étage inférieur) de taille modeste mais excessivement bien équipé. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour rester quelques jours et bien que ex-centré, le métro situé à qq min permet de rejoindre facilement le centre. Excellente communication et infos utiles du propriétaire.
