The cabin was nice could use some upgrades. The outlets would not hold the charging cords. You plug them and they fall out. The grounds and outside of building needs quite a bit of upkeep. I’m assuming the bed is a memory foam but very hard and for someone who has had major back surgery it was very uncomfortable. I can’t address the hot tub we were not able to use that due to my husband just getting out of the hospital with an injury and could not sub merge

I’m glad you thought the cabin was nice. Sounds like you had an overall miserable experience, it is a memory foam mattress and we have almost no complaints about it although mattresses are highly personalized. The fact that you did not like the mattress because you had just had back surgery, doesn’t mean that the mattress needs to be replaced. In fact that mattress is almost new. Wish you could’ve enjoyed the hot tub, but unfortunately, your post surgery restrictions would not allow you to get the most out of the amenities. We have never had a problem with the outlets and I have no idea which outlet you were using and what the problem was. Sounds like you actually like the property overall but issues with your back, kept you from enjoying it.
We enjoyed our time here. There was some road construction to the cabin which was a little hectic with those steep hills and hairpin turns, but that's no fault of our hosts. We had a bear visit during dinner one night, too!
The cabin was beautifully located in a spot for two. The peace of mind just looking at the view and the sounds of nature! It’s been awhile since I’ve seen butterflies!..
This had been our 5th stay at tho beautiful cabin, As always we had a great stay at the Bear Cub cabin. The host is very accommodating, responds to any messages in a timely manner, the hot tub is great, the cabin is always clean and well maintained, this will always be my go to cabin in Gatlinburg.
Had a great time at the Bear Cub cabin for our New Year’s getaway. The cabin was beautiful, very clean, nice, and spacious. We enjoyed the pool table and jacuzzi. Communication was great as well. We will definitely book again.
This was a great cabin. It was spotless and beautiful. For there to be cabins all over the mountain, it was very private, as there are no cabins behind you(deck side), and the foliage mainly blocks out the one down the road on the other side. I would stay here again.
The hot tub was the perfect way to end a long day of hiking! We loved having the pool table for some rainy day entertainment! Very clean and loved the decor.
Very nice neighborhood, you get the feel of seclusion and privacy. The hot tub was nice after a long day of walking. The location was great. Just minutes from Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. We did see one bear close to the cabin, it crossed in front of us on the road. Access to the driveway was fairly easy. Would definitely book this place again.
Although there were other cabins close by, the cabin was very quiet and semi secluded. The cabin was very clean, very cute and exactly as described. The gps took us to the location but the owners directions definitely helpedEven though we didn’t see any bears, The mountains were gorgeous. And we would rent this cabin again in a heartbeat.
