Wake up at "Away in the Bay" and stroll across the road to the delightfully sheltered waters of Geographe Bay or take the three minute walk into town for coffee at one of the coffee shops or cafes. Try the famous local bakery or you may prefer to self cater and sit on the upstairs balcony, the front courtyard or beside the potbelly stove and gaze at the sea or spot a dolphin or two.

This location has it all for all seasons and is a convenient base for exploring the Margaret River region's many wineries and beaches. The nearby area specialises in chocolate, icecream, cheese and olives for the 'Foodies' and offers golf, snorkelling, surfing and diving for the more energetic - take your pick!

A feature of the villa is its capacity to accomodate a group of up to 6 people while remaining a cosy proposition for 2,4 or the family. Recently added Air Conditioning to all upstairs bedrooms.

Sorry, strata regulations mean that no pets are allowed.
To allow us to maintain a high level of presentation for all guests, we require a 10.00 am check out, unless "late check out" is negotiated prior to your stay.
We ask that consideration be shown to strata neighbours, especially in regard to noise.

Lovely stay at Away In The Bay

A great place to stay with friends for a relaxing weekend, the outdoor shower was a hit and having the beach across the road was a bonus. Host was great with instructions and house was fully stocked with appliances and everything you could possibly need. An awesome stay, I would highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is great and it has almost everything you could need. Smaller 2 bedrooms are a bit cramped but still usable. Manager was great and answered a query very quickly. I'd stay here again. Thanks

Great location to walk everywhere and love the view to the water perfect for walks, swimming etc. Clean and lots of kitchen equipment if wanting to cook. We had friends staying in others so fantastic to be close as we were their for our sons wedding.

A lovely breakaway ….

We enjoyed a 3-night mid-week break which felt so much longer. 😊 It was a relaxing time and so peaceful! Great communication from Anna, the property agent. Even had the heating going on our arrival to ensure a ‘warm welcome’. The view is stunning and we were greeted with the most beautiful sunrises each morning! Just lovely ….

I would say this would be my 5th time staying at away in the bay . As always had a wounderful time great location very comfortable house to chill for a break my friends I brought were very impressed by the home as always we were welcomed with a beautiful bottle of white wine and chocolates can’t beat that . 🌸

Away in the Bay Dunsburough

It was great value for money and a very good location. The place was nicely furnished with comfortable coaches. It had a lovely view over the over the ocean. The kitchen was well equipped. The only niggly bit was, in the lamp over the dining table was an awful florescent light bulb in stead of a dimmable one (especially silly, since the light switch had a dimmer button.) Other wise every thing was tops.

Comfy Cottage by the water

The house is in an excellent location, and the instructions from the property manager made it easy to find/access. The beds and bedrooms were very comfortable and apart from a few upgrades needed (and more cutlery/equipment in the kitchen) we had everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Superb Holiday

Beautiful and well appointed townhouse in excellent location opposite the beach and walking distance to town and cafes. Very comfortable, a home from home and Anna is a fabulous host. Had an amazing 3 week stay so thanks so much Anna, can’t wait to come back.

Fantastic in every way. We will definitely be returning to this property. We both absolved it.
