Located at the famous Watego's Beach this modern, well equipped house has a tropical oasis setting. A refreshing Mineral pool, timber decks and a BBQ area make for a relaxing holiday. A short 200m stroll to the beach. This large 4 bedroom house accommodates up to 8 people. Memories is perfect for 2 small families or 4 couples. Fabulous scenic walks along the beach to town or over the Cape to the most Easterly point of the Australian mainland. Only 2 km to the centre of town.

What a wonderful week at Memories. The house is great, good separation of bedrooms which suited our family perfectly. The house is clean, well stocked and private. Set into the side of the hill amongst tropical gardens it is a short walk to Wategos. Helen was so helpful and made our stay hassle free. Thanks Helen!! Highly recommend

Location Location !!

This big spacious house is located at the well-known Wategos Bay with a beautiful backdrop of bushland and a pleasant walk to the famous Byron Bay Lighthouse. A wonderful holiday home for a large family, with everything that you could need, including 3 off-street carparks. Helen is super helpful and answers all of your questions to ensure your stay is 5 stars. Watching the whales at this time of year was breathtaking and the beaches are postcard pretty. Enjoy !!

Amazing, tranquil and the perfect home away from home

What an incredible place. Started with a meet and greet by the owner, showing us all the amenities and taking us through the home. Assisting us with information on Byron Bay and even taking us to get our first shopping. The house was perfect in every way, spacious, clean, fully stocked and more which helped make out stay even more enjoyable. Perfect location just mins from the best beach I think we were at during our entire trip. I would recommend this home for anyone coming to visit in the Byron Bay area. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Winter Migration North

A wonderful stay in this gorgeous Wategos Beach property. The house was very spacious, peaceful and private. It was very well appointed, so we wanted for nothing. The kids loved the pool and the short walk to the beach and/or lighthouse were real highlights. Perfectly timed for the whale season which was something to behold! We also walked to town a few times which was a good workout and a nice way to take in the breathtaking Byron scenery. Will definitely be back this way in the future to escape the southern cold!

Beautiful location

Wategos is just amazing. This place is a short one street away stroll from the beach which is perfect. It is hilly so important to know for the elderly. If you are directly opposite the beach it’s way too busy. This is close and quiet. The house is old that has been renovated which means it has a few quirky things but nothing that is a inconvenience. The Lot is very shady which would be good in the middle of summer. The neighborhood is super quiet which we truly loved. Great family house that is fully stocked with all the essentials. Host is lovely and helpful.

Fantastic property, fantastic host

My family and I stayed 2 weeks and had a wonderful time. A beautiful property, in a very private and quiet setting whilst only 5min walk to the beach. Couldn't have asked for anything else! Helen was an excellent host making us feel right at home immediately. We will be back!

Perfect Beach Getaway

We can thoroughly recommend Memories at Wategos. The house is modern, spacious and well designed. It is also well stocked with everything we needed for our stay, including beach chairs and boards etc. With multiple decks off most rooms, there were many spots to sit and enjoy the surroundings and the view of the front deck out to the water was superb. We would stay again and can't recommend this property highly enough.

For the price the house was unacceptable, notable was the smell and maggots in the bin which made the pool more or unusable, BBQ was also not operational. Another missing feature are blinds in most rooms making it very bright in the mornings. House definitely needs an upgrade and some love!

Im sorry that you didn't inform me of the outside bin condition when you arrived at the property. I was not aware the bins were not emptied. I also was not informed that the BBQ was not operating. I have always responded to any problem, when informed, straight away. Last I knew there were cutains and/or blinds in every bedroom ??? Is this not the case any more ?? Personally as a property at Wategos Beach that sleeps 8 guests I feel it is very good value. If I remember correctly I also gave you a cheaper deal !!! Or perhaps that is not correct either. Sorry to hear you had a miserable time.

We had a wonderful but too short a stay here. We were 3 couples and a couple of singles and the house was perfect. Plenty of space (and bathrooms!) The house had everything we needed and more. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Memories at Wategos was our perfect stay in Byron! The house was clean and well presented with great accessibility to the beach and lighthouse. Helen was very helpful and accommodating and we felt like we had a true holiday and wish it could of been for longer. Pool and outdoor area were a great space for our family to be together. What a treat! Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely amazing house and location! Could not have asked for anything more, the house is well equipped and only a short stroll to the beach... The pool was fantastic and the whole house was was spacious and offered plenty of room for a group or family,,, Helen was extremely helpful, could not recommend more highly
