NEIGHBOURHOOD OVERVIEW:
Quiet and peaceful, South Hobart is a trendy city fringe suburb only 25-35-minute walk or 5-minute drive to the CBD/Salamanca/Docks and Wrest Point Casino. It boasts an exquisite array of cafes, restaurants, gift shops, interesting nooks and nature walks close by just waiting to be explored.
HOBART MUST DOs:
Make sure you include Salamanca Market (every Saturday), Mt Wellington Scenic Drive,
MONA (Museum of Old & New Art) and North Hobart Restaurant precinct on your "to do" list.
GETTING AROUND:
A regular bus service operates only a 5-minute walk from your apartments. A cab fare to CBD is 8-$10 depending on time of day. Walking into the CBD will take 20-30 minutes. There is a scenic walking route detailed in your apartment.
