Bunkhouse was a perfect place to relax after a day full of adventures. The property was beautiful and host was kind. The place was clean and comfortable. The host did little things that made the stay feel special. Would happily stay here again!

Peaceful Getaway in Cortez

This was a fantastic place to stay in Cortez. It had the amenities to accommodate a family of 5. Great location for easy drives to Mesa Verde, Durango and Four Corners National Monument. It was peaceful and we enjoyed watching the sheep.

Always wanted to stay at a working ranch and the stay cannot get better. Location is the best with stunning views. Very close to Mesa verde National park. The house is beautiful. Owners stay in above unit but provide full privacy. Home was clean and had everything that is needed for stay. Enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful, peaceful stay

Bunny's Bunkhouse is a little piece of heaven! Had a wonderful stay. The property has everything you need for a great stay. Loved visiting with the sheep! Would have LOVED to get to meet the horses! The grill, firepit and millions of stars made for one beautiful evening. Easy drive to Cortez, and even Durango.

Relaxing

This was a perfect spot for us and our pups. The owners are very kind and the apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is away from it all but within 10-minutes downtown Cortez is there to provide any needed supplies. This home was a terrific basecamp allowing us to set off on day trips to Mesa Verde, Telluride and Hovenweep.

Great stay

We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s a great place to relax after a busy day exploring. Check-in was so easy and we were able to check in early. Everything was clean and comfortable. We got just a peek at life on a working ranch, there was always something going on but they were never too busy to answer a question or visit for a while. We were close to town for restaurants and fun but far enough out to enjoy the peace and beauty. I’d stay here again!

A perfect spot to call home in the Four Corners region

Bunny's Bunkhouse is cozy, comfortable, and convenient. It has stunning views of Mesa Verde and the surrounding mountains and is only a few minutes to downtown Cortez. We had a lovely time exploring the trails of Sand Canyon, the cliff dwellings of Mesa Verde, the charm of Dolores, and the magic of the Four Corners region. This is a special place, and we feel lucky to have called Bunny's Bunkhouse home for a few days. Thank you Bunny!

Peaceful escape from the city

Our stay at the ranch was a much needed break from our day to day city life! The private patio looks out on to a beautiful ranch and has amazing mountain views! It was so peaceful that we sat out on the patio drinking coffee until about 11:30 in our pajamas! The hosts were very welcoming and accommodated our very late arrival without hesitation! Thanks for a wonderful escape!

Great property and hosts!

My wife and I and our two dogs loved staying at this property. The views are beautiful and our dogs loved sitting in the grass watching all the farm animals. The apartment itself is plenty spacious and has comfortable seating. The TV is a nice flatscreen that I was able to plug my Nintendo Switch into without issue. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Overall, we had a great time, the hosts were great, and we’d stay here again no question.

Best Lodging on Our Trip

Our days were busy as we used this location just outside Cortez, CO, as a base for seeing the SW corner of Colorado, including Hovenweep NM, Mesa Verde NP, and a backcountry tour in Ute Mountain Ute Reservation. It was so nice to be able to come "home" in the late afternoon to the serenity of the Walk-Out Apartment. We sat in the Adirondack chairs outside out door and watched the sheep as they grazed and "baaed" in the pasture in front of us. I have already recommended it to friends.

We enjoyed our stay at Bunny's Bunkhouse.

Bunny is a pleasant host and easy to communicate with. The check in/check out process was a breeze. The apartment itself was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It is nice, modern, and comfortable. I would have loved to have an oven, but we made the kitchenette work. The farm with snow capped mountains in the background was a beautiful site to wake up to every day. Bunny's Bunkhouse is perfectly situated between everything we wanted to do on our trip - less than 20 minutes to Mesa Verde National Park, about 50 minutes to Durango, 50 minutes to Four Corners National Monument, 1 1/2 hours to Telluride, and 2 hours to Moab, Utah. It was a very pleasant stay.

Awesome Stay

Probably the best stay we’ve ever experienced in a vacation rental! The apartment was clean and cozy with everything we needed to feel right at home. The ranch setting is beautiful with mountains in the background and with cattle and sheep peacefully grazing. I also enjoyed visiting with our sweet hosts!
