This home was truly a home away from home. We were able to accommodate all visitors comfortably. It was a family reunion of sorts and the kids absolutely loved the nice big back yard. Parking was sufficient and all needs were met. Grocery stores and restaurants close by. And casino is less than 30 min.

Great location - close to Mesa Verde

We enjoyed staying at this house. It was a close drive to Mesa Verde, Canyons of the Ancients and other hikes. We loved having the fenced in backyard for the dog as well. The owners have everything labeled well in the house and take care to be eco-friendly.

The house was located close enough to town for easy travel between us and family living there. Large enough to accommodate all of us during the day and evening meals. Bedroom and bathrooms were very clean and comfortable for 4 adults. The living area large and comfortable enough for up to 12 to gather, play games and enjoy meals. Very clean and well stocked. Funky neighborhood but good for dogs

Property was clean and well furnished. Back porch was more cluttered than picture. Nice bedding but other than master bedrooms were small. Kitchen well stocked. Pellet fireplace not working which was disappointing as we were there when it was cold. Dog loved the yard.

Great views of Snow Covered Mountains

As a family, we spend almost every Thanksgiving together in Cortez. The majority of our family lives in Cortez, but my husband and I and our son and daughter-n-law travel from other places, and hence why we rent a home to stay in during that time. This year was our first time renting this location and we found it to be very comfortable, close in proximity to Cortez amenities, and good for our dogs. Thank you.

The home is just that...a home. Much more comfortable than a hotel. Clean and organized, with lots of local literature showing where to go and what to do. Pet friendly, and we enjoyed visits from a couple of felines on the porch (Salem, our feline, spent time at the door with twitching tail). Just an all around good place to stay. Check-in and -out instructions were clear and easy to follow. Caretaker's number was provided, along with the hosts, for questions and information. We will definitely remember this home for the next time we visit.

I really loved staying there! It’s a beautiful little house, in a quiet residential neighborhood very close to downtown Cortez, and very close to Mesa Verde. The house is eco friendly, with a lot of energy and water saving features (heat pump/evaporative cooler, low flow toilet with 2 flushing options). They also have a mini washer and dryer. The neighbors are friendly. It was lovely, and I would love to be able to stay there again. Thank you!

Clean where it needed to be but it needed more maintenance.

We enjoyed our time in Cortez but the house needed more maintenance. As I said, everything that needed to be clean was. But, outside was not maintained at all. They advertise four places to sit outside but there was little to no maintenance to the outside areas. Cob webs ruled outside. The screened in porch had no door and torn screening so what is the point in a "screened in porch"? They also advertise more than one parking place and RV parking. No way. We needed none of it, but there were two trucks and a car parked there. People coming twice a day to change out cars. I have a lot more to say, but won't. I emailed the owner directly to address the many concerns but had no return response.
