Secluded Sanctuary near Wanaka, Mtn Setting, Stunning Views

Stunning views on 8-acre rural property just 20-minutes to Wanaka. Our home is overlooking the Wanaka Valley, with views of the Southern Alps and Lake Hawea which is 5 minutes away. We've been developing the land and main house, and sleepouts, and off-the-grid infrastructure to create a peaceful, beautiful setting. Off-the-grid is state of the art solar, hydro and lithium batteries which provides an excess of electricity. Gravity fed water system is fed by a mountain spring. The main house has a well-laid out kitchen, open plan bedroom upstairs, with small bedroom off the stairs as well. Central heating is provided by wood-burner stove, which supplies hot water for radiators keeping the dining room and bathroom cosy. The newly built second bathroom and shower building are adjacent to the larger sleepout (which has its own outdoor kitchen). There is a spectacular yurt on the highest part of the property that can be used as a yoga or meditation space, or even another bedroom. It is well heated and has electricity, and can be outfitted with a small 2-burner stove for making tea etc. The views are expansive. The feeling is quiet even though you'll be 15-20 minutes from bustling Wanaka and 40 minutes from the slopes in winter. There are 111 fruit and nut trees, a hammock, outside kiwi bathtub, organic vegie garden and in-ground bathtub. This would ideally suit a family, and/or more mature renters. The property is being set up as a retreat centre, We have been holding yoga and mediation classes so we're looking for renters that would be in alignment with our values of stewardship of the property, and who appreciate this special corner of New Zealand and will continue to "hold the space" for what we're creating, as we feel this is a special property that deserves caring. (This is not suitable for a group of travelers/seasonal workers looking to bunk-in together for the ski season. ) We are going to Australia for 4-6 months to support Amanda's elderly parents while her mother undergoes treatment.
