It is a wonderful place and we enjoyed a lot the location with vegetation and the comfort provided. The host was very helpful and prompt to resolve our concern about the weather. Defintely, a recommended place to stay.
Quiet, spacious grounds, no neighbours, well located in the rainforest, plenty of kitchen accessories, comfortable bedrooms, and a good parking area. A BBQ would have been a welcome addition.
The house is beautiful. The photos don't do it justice. The beds are so comfortable. The kitchen has everything we need and the outdoor area is stunning. Perfect location for our stay in the Daintree.
Lovely house within a gorgeous location. We really enjoyed our stay here. I haven't slept so well in ages. Loved listening to the soundtrack of the forest from dawn to dusk. Cow Bay is a great place to stay. Totally recommend this home away from home.
Beautiful house, well provisioned, with easy access to all of Daintree. During our visit we enjoyed beautiful weather and everything about the house was very comfortable. Tina was a wonderful host.

What a gorgeous slice of paradise. The property is well equipped with everything you'll need for your stay. Super quiet surroundings. The porch is a great place to unwind after exploring parts of the Daintree. Would love to stay again on our next holiday to the Daintree.
Fabulous place to stay. Can’t fault it. Clean and tidy, comfy, and in your own little oasis of serenity! All the amenities you need for a long stay. Central area and easy to get to tourist attractions around Cape Trib or even a quick trip back across the river down to Mossman. Highly recommend.
The house is very comfortable and well-equipped. We used it as a base to enjoy activities on Cape Trib - the Discovery Centre, walks, Reef trip. The house is further than we expected from dinner places, (except Crocodylus), with the Cow Bay Hotel now closed. So we did feel a little isolated. We walked to the exquisite beach a couple of times - an easy 20 mins away.

This was our last holiday in Australia before leaving after 10 years in Melbourne, so we needed some
This was our last holiday in Australia before leaving after 10 years in Melbourne, so we needed somewhere special. We stayed here for close to a week and it was the perfect choice! Lovely to come home to all the comforts you could need. Tina, the owner, lives on the adjacent block and gives you all the privacy you need yet is on-hand should you need advice or suggestions on what to see and do. It really was a pleasure to stay here and I hope we'll be back one day.
We stayed for 4 nights in Tina's very cozy and peaceful home that was well equipped with everything we needed. Bed was comfy, good wifi signal, no telephone reception but that was a bonus as was falling asleep to the sounds of the rainforest. Location was about 40 minutes drive from Cape Tribulation along a scenic road where we had multiple cassowary sightings. Cow Bay itself is very close by and so are other small walks, eating places and the general store. Overall a great place to stay, would recommend and would love to come back. Do your shopping in Mossman or Port Douglas before you head over the river as supplies up north are very limited.
Thanks Tina for your hospitality and responsiveness, such a magical place :)

It was an amazing location and the house was beautiful
I wish we had booked the house for longer it was peaceful and serene, The house had everything we needed and was lovely, Tina was very easy to deal with and kept in contact, 5 *
We had a wonderful relaxing time staying here, soaking up the beauty and sounds of the forest wildlife. The house is lovely and comfortable, with an undercover area out the back which is great for sharing meals and relaxing. The location was great for exploring the area. Tina, the host was helpful and provides good info to enjoy and explore the area.
We stayed for 7 days during early September and didn't want to leave. It was so peaceful, I slept better than I have for years! I would recommend this property, especially if you would like to be away from other people 😊
Absolutely loved our stay- homey feel to the house and everything we needed to have a restful weekend. Gardens and location is great as well, perfect get away. Thank you!
