Les Chalets 5 - fabulous apartment next to Halley's Comet chairlift

This fantastic apartment overlooks Halley's Comet chairlift and Slalom Plaza so access to everything is the best you can get at Falls Creek. Fabulous views over the Summit, just perfect for watching the sun go down after a great day out on the slopes. True ski in/ski out with the chairlift about 1 minute's slide away and at the end of your day you can ski down Wombat's Ramble, right to the front door.

The apartment has a full designer kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, Caesar Stone benchtops, under bench electric oven, induction cooktop, Aldi coffee machine with complimentary coffee capsules & front loading washing machine. The lounge has two comfortable couches (one is double sofa bed) and a large Smart TV.

Bedroom 1: queen bed, Smart TV &full ensuite. Bedroom 2: double bed & 3 single bunks. Bedroom 3: 2 single bunks. All bedrooms have down doonas and ample storage.

A very efficient drying cupboard and separate ski locker are also available. Linen and towels supplied as well as tea, coffee, basic condiments & supplies. Free wireless internet is also included.

Available all year round but winter season only available for 2 nights (Fri-Sun), 5 nights (Sun-Fri) or 7 night (Fri-Fri or Sun-Sun) stays.

All in all a great apartment in a great location.

We stayed as a family of 4 with 2 extra adults and the location could not have been better. Everything we needed and the ski lockers downstairs were perfect

Perfect location property

My family really enjoyed to spend the weekend in Les Chalets apartment. Property is clean, comfortable and has everything we need. Location is perfect, just step out to Halley’s Comet chairlift. The owner is very friendly and understanding. Highly recommended.

As usual, another amazing stay at one of Nina’s property ☺️ Would highly recommend this apartment. Clean and tidy and has all the essentials needed for the weekend. Great drying cupboard and close to everything!! Easy access to the apartment and large lockers to keep our boards safe.

Fabulous host and perfect location

We made a last minute booking , the apartment was perfect for our family with a great set up . Everything you need for a ski trip . It was clean , great drying facilities. Third bedroom was small but other two worked really well . Bathrooms fresh and clean . We’ll stay here again .Nina our host was wonderful .

This property is comfortable and reasonably well provisioned but unfortunately not value for money during the off season - a 5 star price for a 3 star property. The access to the apartment is difficult, the bedrooms are tiny, the West facing windows were filthy, the furniture was in need of an update.

Hi Geoff, I am sorry you didn't enjoy the apartment. As it is a 3 bedroom apartment it is priced accordingly. Having 3 guests stay when it sleeps 3 of course would make it more per guest. As to the furniture, it is three years old or less so I am not sure what needed updating. The leather sofas are a distressed leather and were quite expensive (about $5000 for the two) & purchased 2 years ago. As you would have noticed, the carpet was new and the apartment repainted. I am constantly maintaining the apartment to a high standard and the two chest of drawers are scheduled for replacement prior to the ski season. As to the windows, I am grateful you told me about this as the cleaners charge $250 per clean so I would expect the windows to also be cleaned.. Regards, Nina

We stayed for three nights and used the apartment as base for our 3 Peak Challenge training camp. the apartment is very well equipped, the bathrooms freshly renovated and offered for the 5 of us plenty of space to enjoy the rest after a long day of riding as well as the amazing view from the living room windows. The host was very accommodating and the communication easy. The location is just fantastic and we are happy to recommend this place to friends and fellow cyclists who are looking for a nice place to stay whilst in Falls Creek
