About this property

Paradise on The Boulevard - Beach Holiday Home

Large, comfortable, and private holiday house at Paradise Beach in the Gippsland Lakes Coastal Park. The house is directly opposite the beach, close to fishing, native wildlife, walking tracks, and cycling.

The whole house is air conditioned for all round comfort in summer or winter. There are 5 large bedrooms plus a sofa bed in the lounge, so enough beds to sleep 15. Also a huge open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area to easily accommodate large numbers of guests. There is a large laundry and bathroom downstairs with an en-suite upstairs. The lounge has plenty of space to seat guests, while relaxing or watching TV, or your choice of free Netflix channels. Free wireless high speed broadband is also available.

Upstairs the main bedroom is well appointed with a fantastic outlook from a huge balcony. A place to sit and relax, read a book, or daydream while the bird-life twitters beside you. The balcony is a great place to have a pleasant evening meal listening to the sounds of the sea while the sun goes down.

Outside there is plenty of space to relax by the BBQ, play sports, or just take in the serenity. There is a outdoor seating area around the BBQ ideal for whiling away your time with your friends and family. Also there is a separately fenced area for your pet dog(s) that even has it's own kennel.

At the beach you'll be amazed at the beauty and wide open spaces. The local maps show the beach location as "Wild Dog Shore". Our research uncovers this name was used by local fishermen in days long past, however some maps show Wild Dog Shore on the shores of nearby Lake Wellington.

Regardless, your pets can play and explore while you take endless strolls along the shoreline beach-combing and shell collecting. The beach changes almost daily and is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the serenity. Many guests have seen dolphins, whales and been amazed at the teaming sea birds as they follow the school fish along the shoreline. You will be amazed at how few people there are along this wonderful 90 Mile Beach. For fishermen there are some ideal spots to throw a line in and try your luck at catching flathead, whiting, salmon, snapper and more.

There are plenty of other activities available including golf at the Golden Beach Golf Club, a delightful 9 hole course that's a real experience to enjoy. There is also lawn bowls at the Golden Beach Bowls Club. For those who like cycling it is ideal with many kilometres of long flats roads to explore. Of course there are plenty of walking tracks for those who wish to adventure through the coast parks that surround Paradise Beach. A favourite place are the various wetlands where bird-life are teeming around the shallows foraging for food. There are many other places to explore including the Trinculo shipwreck just past Golden Beach toward Seaspray.

For those who wish do do some shopping Sale is a short drive past the Sale Common State Game Refuge where there is the opportunity to observe wildlife in extensive marsh and grassland areas. Sale is a lovely Victorian country town with many historic buildings, the historic Port of Sale on the Thompson River, lakes and parkland, and a great choice of street cafes to sit and have coffee or tea while taking in the scenery.

Great house to relax
Our family (11 of us) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The grandkids (7 to 17) enjoyed themselves especially as they spent quality time with their parents and us on the beach, playing games.

Peaceful
This place totally lives up to its name Paradise. There is nowhere else you can walk out your front door and within a couple of minutes your sitting on the golden sand watching the surf or trying your luck fishing as my partner does and catching fresh salmon and flathead for tea. We love this place and stay here often the hardest part is leaving

Holiday at paradise beach
The property is clean and well appointed. Great to be able to bring the dog along with a secure fenced area and beaches that you can take your dog for a walk. It's a lovely quiet area with a short walk to the beach. The internet and phone reception was very patchy, often getting no internet or Netflix. The beaches in this area are not the best for swimming, but if you prefer a quieter holiday destination it is a lovely spot.

Why they chose this property

Paradise on the Boulevard is a very spacious, large, modern and recently built home that has all the mod-cons, with super comfort and total privacy. Walk directly across the road, and along the spectacular foreshore reserve pathway to the fabulous 90-mile beach. You will agree, our location is second to none. The area is pristine, substantially state forest and beach reserve. The beach is magical at any time of the year with the changing sands always an amazing site. And walks along the beach, you can discover all sorts of treasures. You might even see dolphins, or a whale out to sea. It is a fisherman’s paradise and it is a place to throw a line over the surf break to try for a salmon or even tuna. Look either way and as far as the eye can see is unspoilt beach. Those with dogs will love to stay here as there is freedom to run and run, plus we have a sure dog compound at the house. There is plenty of wildlife with loads of birdlife, plus kangaroos, wombats and koalas as well. We invite you Paradise on The Boulevard, no matter what time of year, you will be sure to enjoy your stay.

What makes this property unique

Walk directly across the road, and along the spectacular foreshore reserve pathway to the fabulous 90-mile beach. You will agree, our location is second to none. The area is pristine, substantially state forest and beach reserve. Nearby, explore stunning lakes and waterways in Gippsland. The largest network of inland waterways in Australia.
