You won't find anywhere closer to the water! Our comfortable Twin Lakes (Northern Idaho) lake cabin has a waterfront convertible queen bed sleeping area (with a sliding door to your private deck), two bedrooms with double beds on the back side of the house, PLUS an additional lower level bunk room with plenty of room for the kids to just relax. Guests report that the lower level sleeping area is like being right on the water! Perfect for a romantic getaway for two OR a family vacation! Sleeps up to eight very comfortably.

Need quiet time? Perfect for putting the finishing touches on your novel or report, studying for an important test, or relaxing away from the office (yet staying in touch). Both levels have panoramic west facing windows with postcard views of lower Twin Lake, mountains, and sunsets! The private deck overlooks the private dock for boating, fishing, or just watching the kids swimming. Walk ten minutes to Twin Lakes Village golf course for mulligans, then dine at the Village's Moon Dollar restaurant. The cabin is conveniently located adjacent to boat launch.

Whether you enjoy boating, water skiing, fishing, or swimming in the summer.... or like skiing and ice fishing in the winter, there's plenty of activities to fill your days!!!

Just minutes from I-90 for easy access to Spokane and Coeur d'Alene!!

Nearby, you could be racing the Coeur d'Alene Ironman; carving down the slopes of Schweitzer ski resort, hurling down nearby Silverwood Amusement Park's Krazy Koaster (located ONLY 15 minutes from the cabin), or relaxing and enjoying the natural beauty of Farragut State Park (seasonal and date specific activities).

Amazing place for our family and will definitely be staying again! The pictures don’t do the view justice, and it was so fun being right on the beach for my kids. The lake cabin is a little dated, and there is no AC so 95 degree days were a little hot but the location more than made up for that!

Had a great vacation. Kids loved the lower room and being able to share the space but have their own beds. So glad to have the private dock so that we could bring our boat. We had another couple stay with our family one night and they loved it, too. Really comfortable place with all the things you'd need supplied.

Lake paradise

This was our third stay. We love the location. The Roost is perfect for our family. Clean, comfortable, lots of places to sleep. We love kayaking on the lake and relaxing on the dock. Easy to get to Silverwood.

We spent 8 nights and enjoyed everything about this lake cabin. Ty was a great owner and checked on us to make sure everything was OK We went to the golf course and had lunch one day and it was great. We had family over a couple of nights and the dining room table was perfect for everyone. Everyone made the comment how nice the cabin was. Thanks Ty we will be back Jackie and Jeff

Fun on the lake!

Cozy cabin on the lake with beautiful views from the deck. Several great outdoor seating areas. The dock is great fun for fishing off of (we caught several fish), launching a kayak or swimming. Located a short drive from Silverwood (which we also visited). Location next to public boat ramp means you may get noise at all hours of the day.

Lake getaway

This was our second stay. Had a wonderful time enjoying relaxing on the dock, kayaking, swimming. The cabin in very clean and cute. Sort of rustic chic but also with great amenities. My kids loved that they each had their own room and didn’t have to share. The lovely neighbours let’s us play with their dogs throwing the ball into the lake for retrieval. Beautiful sunsets and peacefulness yet fairly close to town and shopping options and easy to get to Silverwood.

Spoiler alert - it was amazing!

The Roost was every bit as lovely as it looks from the pictures. The cabin is great, very clean and has everything you need. The location was also great, 15 min to Silverwood, next to an amazing golf course and steps to the lake! We enjoyed taking our boys out in the canoe and watching them swim in the lake. The cabin's deck make the spot that much better, so many places to sit, relax and enjoy the view. The BBQ works great, the fireplace is perfect, etc. etc. Can't say enough great things about our stay there. Can't wait to go back!! :)

Stay at this cabin!!!

If you want to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere this is your place. They have thought of everything at this cabin!! The outdoor seating is amazing, everywhere you want to be, there’s s chair ! A grill, a fire pit, chairs … the dock was our favorite place. Quiet , peaceful… BEAUTIFUL!! The neighbors dog is the sweetest thing! We played fetch for a long while , and the neighbors are extremely friendly as well. The house is very well equipped with everything you need. Board games galore! ( we had t played board games in forever) we had so much fun! Everything you want to see and do is minutes away! This cabin is Heaven!!! We found our favorite and can’t wait to come back!! Ty is excellent, and responds so quick to any questions or requests! We had a great time! Thank you so much!!❤️❤️❤️

We had a wonderful time at the lake. The neighbors are super nice. The property is great & recently updated! They added a portable AC while we were there which was much appreciated with the 90+ temps. Would definitely return!

This place was so adorable, and even better than I imagined. It had several bedrooms and direct access looking over the water. Plus, the hosts were incredibly accommodating. We were staying there during our wedding reception, and they even left us a little gift, it was so thoughtful. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a perfect place for a quiet week away with our family of 7. Plenty of place to sleep and relax. Great location for bumming around and checking out all things Idaho. Kitchen had everything we needed and lots of games and movies for fun. I recommend it for any size of group!

We love the Roost!

This was our second year at this lovely lakefront cabin. We all love it and had a great time. The view off the deck or dock is just stunning. It's easy to get to and has lots of parking. The public boat launch is right next to it. We were nervous that would be loud but it has never been an issue and has very little traffic. It's the perfect spot close to town! Ty is an excellent host as well, very helpful and responsive. We will be back.

New England travellers

We had 5 adults and 1 child (5 yrs) travelled from New England to meet our new grand child. We stayed for 4 fabulous nights, wished it was more. Everything we could have needed was provided we had great weather and spent our days out on the deck or down by the water. The water is crystal clear and beautiful, small pebble beach so water shoes aren’t necessary but the kids were happy to have them. We had our own boat and explored the lake. We didn’t fish but there was lots of fish judging by the bald eagles fishing for them each morning. We would love to stay here again when we return, and would highly recommend it.

Stay at cabin on Twin Lakes

The place was clean and met the needs of our family. The owner Ty was quick to reply and was very accommodating when we arrived early the first day. We had a few nights where we were awoken by the neighbor’s dogs barking and this lasted for anywhere from 5 to 15 min. Overall the place is lovely and the beds are comfortable.

Amazing cabin!

Beautiful cabin right on the lake. We enjoyed the private dock and canoe. When it was rainy we enjoyed the well stocked board game cabinet and movie selection. We would definitely rent this cabin again!

Save time to explore Spokane, Washington and her surrounding areas as well as the Northern Idaho cities of Coeur d'Alene, Sandpoint, and Bay View. Pick from several excellent golf courses, fish off of one of the largest private docks on the lakes, or just sip coffee or cocktails on the waterside deck! Simplified pricing.

Most of the year the deck sits right over the water, creating an intimate lake experience. Located in scenic North Idaho, just one hour to Spokane International Airport. Come work from the lake and let your family play in the water. Or.... head off to work at your Coeur d'Alene or Spokane day job, and be back in time for dinner on the patio!
