This place has a very beautiful and peaceful feeling. Sitting out on the deck at night was so wonderful and quiet. Many stairs to walk down to the home and again from the home to the lake. Be prepared if you struggle with stairs. All-in-all it’s a very comfortable place to stay an

Sue, it was such a pleasure to host you, and getting to meet you, your husband, and the pups was a lovely bonus! You’re right about the stairs - we’re mindful of highlighting them in the listing so guests can feel confident the home is a good fit before booking. We love the serenity of this location and are so glad you found it a wonderful place to unplug, too. Hearing about your morning fishing routine made me smile - what a perfect way to start the day! Thank you for your thoughtful communication before and throughout your stay. I truly appreciated your kindness and flexibility. We’re grateful you chose to stay with us and would love to welcome you back!

This is a charming well kept property. Everyone in our party raved at the cleanliness, the white crisp bedding and the cabin decor. Loved the organization of the kitchen, especially the labels! All the amenities were spot on. I had read about the stairs ahead of our visit so was prepared for them, also they are a good workout. We had a 3 and 5 year old in our group and they didnt have any problem with the stairs, thanks to all the handrails. The outdoor gathering and bbq area was perfect for al fresco dining, along with timed lighting as the sun set. The dock and water toys were utilized and appreciated, we rented a pontoon from the marina for a day, which was delivered right to the dock. Neighboring docks were very friendly. We watched fireworks on the 4th from the dock and deck, even though this was not a commercial event, they were impressive. Much appreciated the patience of the host with my many questions. Highly recommend!!!

We had a great time. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Kayaking at 6 am. Watching the sunrise while paddling out on the lake was awesome.

Rick, thank you for your review - we sure appreciate it! Exactly your experience is what we hope everyone can take in during their stay. There's something extra special about the view and slow pace on this side of the lake. Glad you were able to kick off your day using the kayaks. We appreciate the condition the cabin was left in and thanks for being so easy to communicate with. Hope to host you again one day!
