Fantastic. The view was really lovely and the home itself had so many little extras, it was great. Very comfortable, especially the beds. Connie was a great host & responded quickly to my messages. We'll definitely be back.
We absolutely loved our stay. The home was clean, spacious, and comfortable — perfect for families and a relaxing getaway. Beautiful views especially at sunset and a well-equipped kitchen. We enjoyed peaceful morning walks to the nearby beach, with shops and scenic spots close by.Communication was excellent and check-in was seamless. We’d happily stay again and highly recommend it.

Wonderful review Lettie. Thank you. I hope to see you and your beautiful family back again next year.
This is the third time my cousin and I have stayed at this lovely property. We love the comfort, the spaciousness, stocked with everything you need. We enjoy sitting on the large verandah enjoying the glimpses of the ocean. No houses in front and large grass area to look over so quite private. Would absolutely recommend this home and we will definitely return.

We were in Carrickalinga for a wedding and the house was excellent. Very comfortable with everything we needed. Would highly recommend Falcon Blue, sitting on the deck watching the sunset was very relaxing.
When we walked in we were welcomed by a beautifully clean place that had a welcoming feel to it .
We loved all the homely touches that made out stay really special
What a fantastic holiday home! Our family loved our time at Falcon Blue! Great location with awesome views of the coast - the sunsets are simply amazing.
The home is modern and very well equipped, with extra linen and bedding you wouldn't find at most holiday homes. It is truly a home-away-from-home!
Thank you once again and we looked forward to staying at Falcon Blue soon!
House was awesome! Clean and tidy. Views were great. Close to awesome cafes and takeaway places. Normanville is not far either! Very enjoyable weekend! Thank you 😊

Great review. Much appreciated Sarah. Worth all the hard work
A lovely stay, quiet area overlooking a reserve & a nice clean house with a breeze that blows through when the house is opened up. Really enjoyed the deck outback listening to the cockatoo's, the glimpses of sea & the amazing slipper bath after a short drive to the awesome Carrickalinga beach that is as unspoilt as always. A busy time of year but it wasn't really apparent staying at this house. Appreciated all the extras available like linen, towels etc as hate having to pack everything on a holiday! Nice stay 😁
Beautiful few days at Carricaklinga, beautiful house, lovely location, quiet, ideal for our winter break.
Unfortunatley on arriving at the house we had to spent approx an hour cleaning the windows looking out to the balcony - so dirty we could hardly see out - disappointing but after that it was a lovely weekend.
PS the house was very well equipped but i could nt find a grater...we managed but just letting you know for future bookings. thanks
Very clean house and in an excellent location. House had everything you need. Beautiful balcony space perfect for entertaining.

Nice place to stay but needs to have some of the info on stayz website updated.
We really looked forward to our trip, we were looking for something accessible. As I use a wheelchair. When I found this place it had accessible with the wheelchair logo on it. I sent a message asking for a floor plan or accessibility info, and I was told the info was on website. When we arrived, the ramp up to the house was ok but I needed assistance getting up from the gravel to ramp. Once inside we figured that none of the bathrooms were accessible, I do not have a wide chair but it was not convenient. Not being able to use the facilities properly was very difficult and exhausting when having to drag myself across the floor and then getting my friends to help me onto the toilet, or leave and go to a public toilet. There was no ability to get into showers even if there was a small roll in shower chair as there was a lip in the shower. The toilets had little bits of cardboard tucked in under them, that was a bit of a question of maintenance. I would ask can you please remove the accessible feature off your property as it clearly was not accessible. I took one shower while away and the gas ran out on first day, my friend had to go sort that late at night. We were also curious as to why there was so much open food left in house? We were told to not leave anything behind.
I hate to leave reviews like this but I feel we lost a lot of money as house was not accessible as that was the whole reason we stayed there.

Thanks for your review Kym. First and foremost you did advise me that you had a physical disability only, but unaware that you have the use of a wheelchair. Unfortunately you were not clear about this. You did however say in one of your communications that "my photos show that you will be fine in the house", so therefore I presumed just that. You did mention that you worked as a disability co-ordinator. You then advised me that there would be a 4th person joining your group. which I approved. On the 26th May you requested me to advise you sizes of rooms, beds and a plan of the house. to which I advised you of the type of beds, and sizes of beds i.e. queen, double or single. At this point in time there was still no mention of wheelchair access. I was quite perplexed as to why you wanted this information. At this time you still did not advise me that you had use of a wheelchair, and I had no idea of this at this point in time. I forwarded you the House Rules like I do to all my guests. Also I was away on leave at the time I received your request and Internet access was not available in Outback Australia.
Regarding the gas failure, this happens in country homes, and if I was contacted I would have advised that this issue is very easily rectified. However I did not receive a phone call from you nor any of the guests.
I always leave nonperishable food in the cupboards, just as a little extra thing that I do. I am sorry that you did not find this acceptable.
I also regret that you found the property uncomfortable, however I would have been forthcoming if you had clearly explained to me whether the property was wheelchair accessible and why. I have had disabled guests in my property at other times, and have never received negative feedback before.
I will however take on board your suggestion to remove the term "wheelchair accessible" from my page on Stayz. and this I have done.
Thanks again for your comments and review.
We loved the property and both myself, my daughter and her friends were very comfortable. Will definitely look to stay there again, this time for a longer stay so we can spend more time in what was for me a forgotten area of SA
