Retreat to your gorgeous bedrooms, 2 spacious King rooms with mountain views and a 3rd with 2 singles. All beds can be split to create King single beds throughout for maximum comfort for any family or group of up to 6 guests. The 2 master bedrooms feature reverse cycle heating & cooling.

Perfect base stay for Mount Hotham

Love this stayz accomodation as a have been here now twice and hasn’t stopped amazing us at every stay for its warmth, beauty and comfort. Would certainly callout the proximity to snow mountains and yet some beautiful gardens and walks being the prime quality staying at this location. The property owners and managers have been very communicative and helpful, sure could help with some loyalty points.We would highly recommend the Base.

Lovely location

We found this property when looking for dog friendly accommodation. It was spacious and modern, cosy with a woodheater, private, and had a fenced yard for our dogs. The deck also had an undercover place for their beds when it rained. Location was right across from a lovely pub, as well as many walking tracks along nearby rivers. Really enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Harrietville is so beautifully quiet and picturesque. We spent a lot of time in the villa ... just relaxing in front of the fire or sitting outside and taking in the mountains. Our furbaby Henry settled in beautifully and loved the back yard. The spa was also a fun highlight! Highly recommend for a relaxed getaway. We were there four nights and cooked all our meals, except one, in the lovely kitchen. Very well appointed! Thanks for creating such a beautiful getaway. We felt so happy and relaxed xo Lisa, Matty and Henry (the King Charles Cavalier)

Perfect weeken

Spent a weekend at the base 1 and couldn't fault it. Were able to bring our dog which lead to a stress free holiday knowing we could have him with us not have to figure out accommodation for him. The house was everything we expected. Will be recommending this house to my parents who require an accessible house to enable them to go on holidays. The team at Alpine Getaways were extremely helpful and offered us a later check out free of charge due to the house being unoccupied the following day, made for yet again another stress free portion of our trip. Will definitely be back!

Fantastic retreat

A spacious, clean and comfortable house. Lovely and warm inside on arrival (a great treat when arriving late at night) with heating throughout and a fire place for cosy evenings. A great verandah to enjoy wine and cheese looking out over the mountains. Very peaceful location.

Not what we expected...

Whilst the property was spacious and well located to walking and bike tracks it definitely didn't live up to its luxury title. The bed in the main bedroom was 2 singles joined together which means you need to stick to your side of the bed or you are in for one very uncomfortable sleep. Furthermore the bbq was extremely dirty when we went to use it...and after contacting the agency about this we were told it was definitely cleaned before we arrived. We sent photos to the agency of the bbq and never received any reply or apology. On top of this, the neighbour that lives behind the property would play loud music until very late at night, keeping both us and our young son awake. For the price we payed we expected a lot more and would definitely not recommend this property.
