THAT'S WYE is a tastefully renovated four bedroom house with fabulous seaviews from the spacious open plan living/dining area, two large decks, and three of the bedrooms. Quintessential Wye River being nestled amongst the towering eucalypts with an abundance of wildlife at your doorstep. Only 15 minutes to Lorne or 25 minutes to Apollo Bay.

OPEN LIVING/DINING
Spacious dining and living space clad in beautiful cedar with floor to ceiling glass capturing seaviews, and elevated windows to enjoy the eucalypt forest behind. Large 8 seater dining table. Powerful split system (heater and A/C) and efficient combustion fireplace with electric fan. Two comfortable three seater leather sofas. Large flat screen digital TV. Sound system with Bluetooth, usb and cd.

Direct access to large deck that is totally enclosed with glass balustrades to maximise views. Outdoor table and chairs, and modern BBQ.

KITCHEN
Generous mezzanine kitchen overlooking dining and living. Central island bench with ample preparation area and four bar stools. Kitchen comes fully equipped to cater for all your cooking needs, including a Delonghi Nespresso pod coffee machine.

We supply tea/coffee, sugar, oil, vinegar, foil/glad wrap and basic dishwashing items (sponges, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher tables) but not tea towels.

BEDROOMS Total of four
Master bedroom with queen-sized bed, built-in-robe, Noirot convection heater, and modern ensuite with shower and toilet. Separate access to lower deck via floor to ceiling sliding door with flyscreen. Fall asleep to the sound of the waves and wake up with great seaviews.

Second bedroom has two single beds that can be joined by a zip to create a king width bed. Queen doonas in both these rooms in addition to single doonas in third room. Third bedroom with queen-sized bed.

In bedrooms one to three there are built-in-robes, Noirot convection heaters, great seaviews and separate access to lower deck via floor to ceiling sliding door with flyscreen.

Fourth bedroom is a kids bedroom with a kids bunk that will sleep two children/young teenagers. Includes portable heater. Next door to separate toilet.

BATHROOMS/LAUNDRY
In addition to the ensuite bathroom, there is a family bathroom with large shower, vanity and storage unit. Next to separate toilet.

Eurostyle laundry with front loader washing machine and bar fridge.

OTHER FACILITIES
Outdoor shower at rear entry to house.
Back patio under a canopy of eucalypts.
Off-street parking for 3 cars.
Washing line attached to rear entry to house.
Late check-out available upon request.
Less than 10 minute walk to the beach, pub, general store and café

From 26th Dec until 30 Jan we may have a minimum 7 day booking

Initial supply of toilet paper and firelighters are provided. We do not provide paper to assist with lighting fires. Whilst there is generally some in the firewood baskets available, you may wish to bring your own.

Bed linen & bathroom towels are supplied.

Great view and space

We have stayed twice and really enjoy it, even if the weather is overcast it is a comfortable house to enjoy beside the fire. The large deck has stunning views. It is an easy walk to the beach if you enjoy hills. Highly recommended.

fantastic getaway house, we wish we had more time to stay longer. The listing says that bedroom 4 has 2 single beds and that was important for our booking with 6 adults, only when we arrived did we learn that BR4 was quite small and had bunks, then I saw the details in the listing which clearly said bunks for kids or teenagers. We had one of our group cancel so the small bunk room was ok but maybe the listing needs to be more accurate.

Simply amazing

Stunning views and well laid out property so that the majority of the rooms have beautiful ocean views. The daily visits of the local Kookaburra’s was something you just cannot plan and pay for. The property had everything we needed and the communication was great. Beds were super comfy which can make or break a holiday. Would highly recommend and the photos of the property don’t really do it justice. Thanks for a great stay.

Wonderful!

We had the most wonderful stay at Brent and Suzanna’s place in Wye River. The house was actually even lighter and brighter than the picture with a lovely view of the ocean. The house had everything we needed and more for two families with younge children. There was so much wildlife and birds that came to visit during our stay which our kids loved. The communication was excellent with our hosts. I would definitely recommend staying here!

This place has everything you need. A well equipped kitchen. Great sitting area. Great fews. It feels very private. The only negative and this does not really affect the overall comfort of the place are the bathrooms which area bit dated and small. But everything else was perfect. Would recommend it to anyone.

Being views relaxing environment with all amenities. Just lovely to sit in a comfortable space and enjoy the wonderful environment around us.l, ocean trees bird life. ! Great house with plenty of room for two small families. We loved the view, the bird visits every morning and the fireplace for cosy evenings. The walk up the hill kept us fit! Highly recommended.

Friendly Wildlife

Had a very good stay here with the highlight being the visitors that we got on the deck each day. Only disappointment was the lack of WiFi but there were plenty of games and jigsaws to help fill the void. The property was very clean and functional and we will be looking to re book for next year.

Amazing Views and Great Host

The property is quaint with a quirky kitchen layout and amazing views of the bay. We saw a mum and baby whale during our stay. The place was nicely furnished and decorated. We loved the fireplace and had a wonderful time during our time in Wye River. The only downside was no WI-FI and that would be the only reason we wouldn't stay again as my phone didn't work either which meant I had to go to the Telstra Tower to get reception when working on my business.

We have been fortunate to visit some amazing places, however remain almost spell-bound by the beauty of Wye River. It's the perfect base for adventures in winter or summer, and allows us to build family memories of time spent together outdoors.

Why they chose this property

We fell instantly in love with That's Wye.
Tucked away in the serenity of the towering eucalypts that perfectly part to provide fabulous ocean views. The house has character not found in modern beach homes, especially the cedar living space with cathedral ceilings. We have enjoyed adding a fresh touch with new furnishings.
