Carefree stay, the kids got some sledding in and we appreciated the pet friendliness. The solitude was divine, but only a quick few miles to Spring Grove for shopping and eats. Highly recommend
Home was as advertised, great location and very comfortable accommodations. My only feedback is that the stairs were very steep and might not be appropriate for all guests.
We stayed while visiting family in the area. The house is cozy and comfortable. Clise enough to town if you need anything, yet far enough away that you can see all the stars. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.
Nice country property with tons of privacy, nice and quiet with beautiful scenery. Love our time there with the harvest and all the fall colors, thank you for sharing the country with us city folk!
Breathtaking views! We stayed in this slice of heaven and utterly loved it. The description was true to the stay. We felt very comfortable in the cozy house. We had 2 dogs visit and it was super for them. There was a huge yard, so lots of room for them to run around and play and plenty of seldom traveled gravel roads to walk down. Best sleep ever. Close to both Caledonia & Spring Grove, we were able to explore & enjoy great fun and food. Definitely would recommend.
Beautiful landscape on a hill to see all around. The old farm house was updated but yet you could imagine the old farmhouse feel. Great stay. Would stay again, just down the road from the Stone Lady in BlackHammer
Beautiful setting, very secluded, close to multiple trout streams. Really nice well maintained house with many amenities. Perfect base camp for fishing.

THE BEST!
Our experience was, once again, over the top. This is our favorite place to go for a peaceful, beautiful stay. The land is gorgeous. So are the sunrises and sunsets. Plenty of space to walk, or just relax in a hammock or chair in the yard. LOVE IT!Amy is wonderful to work with! She's the best!Thank you Evolve.
Beautiful location for a Fall getaway, quiet/isolated, as described
Really nice spot out in farm country. Isolated, quiet, on a huge lot with beautiful views. Furnishings are basic but adequate, beds are comfortable, good internet, and clean. Bathroom could use a refresh but clean and functional. The landscapes and small towns of Houston and Fillmore counties are beautiful areas to explore.
Very cozy home, surrounded by cornfields. We adventured out to a statepark during the day and watched the meteor shower at night. Plenty of room for yard games and to cook a nice meal together. 5/5 would stay again.
My family and I stayed at this adorable air b&b Friday-Sunday. Our friend got married in Caledonia so it was the perfect distance for traveling to and from the wedding! This house slept 6 adults comfortably and had two bathrooms. It was perfect for a weekend getaway. The setting of the house is in the country and it’s beautiful! The booking/check in process was a breeze! Highly recommend this air b&b!
We chose this farmhouse due to it's proximity to the Rockfilter Distillery and Fat Pat's brewery. We also chose it for the quiet and you will get the quiet. It's nestled amongst fields and farms down a well maintained gravel road. It was just the two of us, but with 1 1/4 baths and 3 bedrooms, you can comfortably fit more. We went in January so we didn't enjoy the outdoors as much as we would have liked. It older, but very clean. The stairs to the upstairs bathroom and bedroom are very steep, but they have two railings so it wasn't too bad. The Oleruds were very responsive. The wi-fi was out and they responded immediately and came out. Had to have a tech come out the next day, but the communication was excellent! We had a beautiful sunset one night. We would definitely stay there again.
Our family was in the area for a family reunion. This rental is only a few miles from town which was perfect for our family. It is located down a long driveway among beautiful trees and cornfields affording complete privacy. We actually did not spend a lot of time on the property because of the reunion, which is too bad because I would have enjoyed sitting on the deck looking at the view. The home was very clean and welcoming and it provided everything we needed. I will book this rental again if ever back in the area.
This cozy farmhouse is nestled in the center of picturesque rolling hills of farmland. The only sounds are wind rustling through the trees, birds, cows, frogs, and crickets. The sunsets are absolutely spectacular! The house is charming and comfortable, and maybe a tiny bit creaky but that just adds to the "old farmhouse" experience.
I make regular trips down to SE MN and this is officially my favorite landing spot. This was my second stay, but it won't be my last!
This was such a beautiful property and the house was very comfortable! The scenery is gorgeous, it’s so quiet and peaceful, you can see a gazillion stars, and the dog loved having room to run! I will definitely stay here again.
What a great place in the country. Wonderful views of surrounding rolling hills and valleys. Enormous yard well taken care of. Home is a remodeled farmhouse that was very clean. And was it quiet there! Some mooing from neighbors in the afternoon was the only thing that could be heard. Wonderful.
Our stay was PERFECT. Just what I was looking for. The countryside was so serene. The owners are extremely considerate, clean, responsive, prepared and kind. The house was exactly how it was portrayed in the listing, including thoughtful extras like a locally sourced assortment of Cream Soda in the fridge, every cooking item you could need, comfortable furniture, washer and dryer so we went home with clean clothes - we’ll be back!
The setting is what makes this place so memorable. Half a mile driveway from the gravel road with almost no traffic makes it very peaceful, surrounded by farms and nature. The house itself is a revived 100+ year old farmhouse, updated in most places, and very comfortable and clean. Very well done!
