Location Location Location

Artist is not in residence! But please enjoy my bohemian home whilst I am off adventuring the world. My two-bedroom two bathroom home is ideal for either two couples who like to holiday together or a couple who likes their own space whilst visiting family in Adelaide.

The home comes complete with an artist studio; There is a vegetable garden and vertical herb wall, where you are encouraged to help yourself to fresh home grown produce. French doors open from the living room onto an al-fresco patio for entertaining your friends and family, and a sun deck directly off the studio offers a private place for evening drinks, followed by a cosy night around the chiminea. Enjoy the epitome of a bohemian lifestyle through my extensive collection of art books and novels. Please feel free to use the easel and get creative in the studio. If you are musically minded an early twentieth-century Stuttgart piano in pristine condition is also at your fingertips.
A true home away from home.

The kitchen and bathrooms have been recently renovated, therefore all appliances are of the latest standard. The main bedroom accommodates a king-size bed with an ensuite, whilst the second bedroom houses a king bed which can be split into 2 single beds. The main bathroom is directly opposite, allowing each couple to have their own bathroom. The living and dining room is intimate and cosy. The three seater Natuzzi couch has two recliner chairs for comfortable viewing on the 42” Sony LED TV screen, with access to Netflix and Amazon Prime via the Apple TV, and Wifi is included of course. Linen and towels are also provided.

Located smack bang between the heart of cosmopolitan Norwood and the city, each option is but a short 15-minute walk away. There are six eateries, from Pub fare to the little local vegan cafe, within 250 metres of the house. A short stroll across the parklands and you are in the city. In fact you could easily get away with not having a car for the duration of your stay. Except for day tips of course. This brings me to garaging. My car is in it! However, there is plenty of parking directly outside the house, with no time limit restrictions.

Garden oasis close to parks and shopping

This property was perfect for two couples. The bedrooms and bathrooms were separated by a large, comfortable living space. The kitchen was well equipped and the front and back gardens were lovely. The area was quiet yet close to shopping and lovely parks. We were able to walk to the Parade, Rundle Mall and the Botanic Gardens. Barbara was an excellent host, always available via text or phone. We’d happily stay there again.

The location is superb, in fact, you will barely need a car for the city experiences. Perhaps renting a car for day trips to the wine regions north and south of Adelaide.
