A dirty apartment in a decent location.
Absolutely putrid. If I had the funds I would have left and stayed elsewhere.
Batteries missing from remotes, nothing to light the stove. No champagne in the fridge, as stated. Blunt knives, cracked paint, Broken towel rails left behind on the bathroom floor. Lightbulbs missing from lamps, or not working.
Messaged Rhiannon to come and please fix the bathroom light. She didn’t even respond to message. We couldn’t shower at night because of this.
Very noisy at night.
Everyones cleaning fee should be returned, because she doesn’t use it.
I am asking for a partial refund. No tea, milk. Hot water tap broken in bathroom, not working. Mould on Windows. Dirty sheets. Sand. Dust. Dirt. Freezer iced with embedded food. Outside bin full, could not dispose of waste. No batteries in remotes. Human hair on coffee cups. Kettle filthy. Could not use anything. Very surprising in covid cleaning requirements. Up side, great location. Very noisy as a function was being held at pub adjacent to back yard. Empty bottles being disposed of continually in bins in lane outside bedroom window until midnight.
Check in details were sent at 6pm on the day of check in. Far too late, causing me to have to find other accommodation last minute. There has been very little help from stayz getting my refund, directing me to simply contact the property owner. I have tried multiple times in multiple different ways and there has been absolutely no contact. No good enough.
We had a lovely time. Great location! A little noisy at times. A few little tweaks and this place would be perfect. We were so pleased to be able to take our two little doggies with us on holiday. Very friendly owner, easy booking process.
This was a great little house for our quick weekend visit. While on the small side, we found it neat, clean, and tidy, with stylish modern accents inside.
It's location is unique in a couple of ways! It's located next to a massage parlour (interesting) and also close to the waterfront with a perfect view of the giant ferris wheel (which is especially beautiful lit up at night). It was walking distance to CBD, galleries, restaurants, etc.

Uncomfortable.
Uncomfortable in the area, the beds, the couch and the dirtiness. We had to clean everything before we used it, thankfully we brought our own bedding. We also had to buy a fan due to there being no window in the 2nd bedroom (not that we'd feel comfortable leaving it open). My husband had to screw the hinges back on the back door screen...so we could use it. Also had to put the kitchen screen back in as it was half hanging off. A hole in the kitchen drain pipe outside gives anyone unfortunate enough to be sitting near it a disgusting shock, not to mention possible burns, when you take the plug out. Overflowing wheelie bin with no instructions about when and where to put them to be emptied. Big piles of dog poo in the yard. Unkempt yard. The property itself is in a good location (shops, parks, restaurants etc) unfortunately, it is surrounded by noise and filth. No champagne (as promised), 3 rolls of toilet paper, 2 bottles of water and 2 cans of coke for 5 people staying 15 days... Welcome?? We didn't feel it. We did feel uncomfortable though.

Really very bad experience
Very small place and not cleaned properly, no cooling in bedrooms, even there was no lighter or matchbox to light on the gas. We had stayed less than 2 hours only and paid for one night stay. First time it was very bad experience. Spoiled our holiday.
First impressions, cute looking unit and great location. We were not met by the owners, however the instructions provided were easy to follow to obtain the keys and access the unit. Upon entry it looked neat and tidy, and reasonably clean.
Then the little things let it down. However they did not stop us from having a really good family holiday.
No bottle of complimentary champagne as stated in the information.
No car parking permit (not the owners fault, previous tenant forgot to leave it behind when they left) which made parking difficult, at times having to park car almost 1km away.
WiFi did not work, well 3 teenagers couldn’t get it to run on there devices.
AC is in need of a service, quite noisy and didn’t seem to have adjustable fan speed.
TV remote only partially works.
There were only 3 dinner knives, luckily we ate out most nights.
There was nothing to light the stove top gas burners and the range hood fan doesn’t work.
Chair in the lounge is broken.
Alarm panel started beeping most mornings around 6.10am
People and cars coming and going at all hours of the night to visit the business next door.
Outdoor area is in need of a tidy up, the hedges are way over gown blocking the afternoon sun.
The outdoor setting was in poor condition, there were only 2 chairs one of which was broken.
No towel rails in the bathroom, looks like several attempts all broken.
Our only real complaint would be the shower, it is in need of real a decent clean, as the grouting is quite moldy.
The unit just needs a bit of TLC, i.e. update some furniture and minor maintenance.
Overall we had a great time and the proximity to everything was great for what we wanted to do. he location provides easy walking distance to everything in CBD, ie shops, restaurants, cafes, and eastern beach etc.

Cute Cottage in great location
I have stayed at this property before and found it to be super cute and in a great location. When I went into house this time it looks like someone has tried to break in and there was damage to back door and window. It made me feel somewhat nervous staying on my own. It would be great if there was no evidence of a break in.
Property was in an ideal position , parking a bit of an issue
Property wasn’t very clean , not well equipped . Hot water not on on arrival , dog hair in the beds , lamps didn’t work . Nothing for cleaning & drying dishes

Very disappointing property hard to find Little things missing eg no shower gel in shower
Very poor garden filled with dog poo and bin overflowing with dirty nappies etc very unhygienic
Neighborhood rough with lots of noise and druggies roaming street
What a little delight right in centre of town. Check in/out was easy, Rhiannon was a great communicator & it was a lovely little cottage that felt very homey. Highly recommended.
We had a lovely time in Geelong with our dog, surrounding tourist areas very accessible as well as shopping and food spots! Neat and Tidy property but furniture and bedding could be updated for winter months, heating is not central heating as advertised but split system and without booklet can be difficult to navigate if not used to operating also no TV instructions on how to operate and remote control needs replacing as numbers non existent! Parking is only 2 hours off street and no parking permit was in property however owner did chase it up and was not successful in retrieving but did offer to compensate for paid parking!
The noise level at this property is very loud, due to a motel and bottle shop which have rear entry’s and receive early morning truck deliveries and rubbish collections. Night time to early hours is busy due to the Brothel back entrance at the side driveway but this can also be entertaining at lunchtime watching the patrons come and go so an open mind is required!
The communication we had was first class. Our location was good for the beach, although with the weather we had no beach walks happened. Shopping center was also only 5 minute walk down the road.

Inner city house
The property was very small and the area was quite noisy at night.
Rhiannon is prompt with her communication, clear and upfront. The property is as described with little nuggets of extras such as bath towels, well stocked shampoo, conditioner and body soap. Check in is fuss-free; as is check-out. Best part is walking distance to everything. The place is small and cosy, perfect for a family getaway for humans and their pooches. Thank you and well done Rhiannon!

Great location but needs some TLC
A cute little place in a great location - within walking distance to shops, beach and restaurants! A real shame that the cleanliness of the property had been greatly over looked and the parking is very limited. Unfortunately because of the time I went, I paid more than what it was worth.

Such a cute little house close to everything you'll need
Lots of positives with this property so close to beach, Westfield and cafes/restaurants. We were able to bring our dog and she loved the experience as much as we did. My only down side was the constant noise and lights of cars at night pulling up to go to the brothal with the back entrance being down the alleyway beside the house (a set of earplugs helped)
